Can someone help clarify on the timing for Bonds of Ancestry's effect and if Pass Over can affect it?

First half of the discussion is that yes Pass Over can banish the card that was chosen by Bonds, effectively causing the effect to fizzle.

The flip side to the discussion is Pass Over has to be played before the turn player chooses the banish target for Bonds, so if there are multiple targets in grave for Bonds, then Pass Over wouldn't cause the effect to fizzle.
