New kayo says each action phase. Does starting a combat chain then closing it star a new action phase?

nope, chain is part of the action phase

I assumed as much but trying to figure out why they said in each of your action phases. Cause to my knowledge you just get one right?

just so it doesnt work during your opponents turn

#

but yeah the each of is weird

"The first time you discard a card with 6 or more pow during your action phase, create a Might token"

It’s effectively a once per tern trigger

The “each” is just a weird quirk of English that is likely just future proofing

would do the same. So unless there is some shenanigans' where he gets a 2nd action phase after his end phase or something...

it might just be future proofing for some "take another turn" like card

Never saw a problem with it.
And now I'm aware of how weird the 'each' is. Ty for that..

I like it that they clearify your own turn. Reckless swing, codex of frailty(from oppo), and other cards can cause you to discard as well. So that would be during an action phase. That's a trigger that would be easily missed.

now it makes sense to me
