#New channel for beginner/intermediate/end game players

Will be a million times easier than looking through pins. Only a few will be able to edit it for future update, so its not cluttered with useless posts.
It's an age old discussion. I'm still against it, grouping chats like that. End game players might prefer being amongst themselves in the expert chat, new players might join expert chat to ask newbie stuff cause not enough community members are willing to reach out there. Players are already not good at keeping conquest to conquest channel and game to game chat channel (which - in some cases - fair enough).
It might be easier to just create an easily accessible place with all valuable information about the game, neatly placed, categorized, organized.
Could be something to look into in 2026. But I personally don't wanna manage all of those text channels. Seems the wrong approach to me.
That's what i suggested? It's not a channel for discussion, only Sham/Mods can edit (getting all the info from kahlfin anyway) it's just posted info on what to do and when. Like when you join a new server, you click "i've read the rules" you read the rules page here, it takes you to the "Advice Channel" so you can see what to do, and then you can be in the regular chat channel.
I didn't read that. Hmm
In a way, some select users have already assembled a lot of this kind of information. We can start looking into "how to present all of this in a good way" in the near future. It's one of the reasons I started becoming interested in keeping track of prices like void godai during season runs
A channel will 100% be easier to read/more organized than pins. New people ask the same questions everyday. We can link the channel, if they dont look themselves, they can see where they are in the game, read what to do, and do it. ezpz. Better than
I feel like this kind of information would be something that the future still in the works Tap Ninja wiki would totally have as it's most important pages.
Maybe guides, FAQ, tips and information about meta tactics could be placed there instead and not clutter it all on Discord channels, it would also invite players to actually check the wiki because we're giving it more reasons to be used that way, just my honest opinion on the matter.
I think there is value in more organized question asking situation, wed need guides posted here and the wiki as well as a well built FAQ for each section
Unfortunately a factor hurting this chance is where early and mid game lines are at this point
can be the same post ion multiple places. it just has to be a set post and can only be edited by a few people for updates, like the Announcement channel. I guess seperate early/mid/late by an average total elixir?
Na that varies to much it would have to be some sort of achievement based like reaching certain buildings or being able to complete weeklies
Ya I guess. Can sort it by anything. We just need a set guide for new people to look at so they aren't asking the same question everyday in the same spot.
Hmmm if only there was a channel that could instantly answer all of his questions. And future ones too
As someone who is in this exact position and also looking for information, I think this is a great idea, and I completely understand the hesitation around spamming the server with channels.
As far as deciding how to categorize the channels into early/mid/late game I'd scratch anything too 'complex', like having players check their stats as I'm sure 35% of players who are coming here for help, will need further help reading it- So I’d keep it simple with a single 'Wiki' category, with channels based on the topics that get asked about most, such as: PETS, CONQUEST, HEROES, UPGRADES [idk I'm new-ish to the game, I'm making this up as I go along.]
That said, I do think something needs to change. I agree with Mp_412 that the current pin system this server relies on is, well, atrocious. The window is tiny, there’s no search functionality, and every time you close it - whether by opening a link or jumping to a selected pin - it sends you straight back to the beginning.
Anyway, sorry for the essay
I'm thinking of 1 channel and having all the info in there, just separated into early/mid/end, and then having each suggestion for Amber, pets, upgrades, heros etc for each. It would just be posted, not a channel for discussion, it would be cleaner and easier to find what people are looking for with the internal search function for that channel too.
Main reason is the same questions get asked literally everyday. Not only from new people either, people come back after a break and want to know what's new in the updates, this would be an easy place for them to figure everything out, and come back to for reference.
Oh do you mean a forum? for example this Sub-Forum is under Suggestions.
And so you just find/search the forum you're looking for.
I agree others shouldn't be able to type in the channel and I am pretty sure you can limit it so only certain roles are allowed to create sub-forums within a main forum.
Nvm reading over what you said you just meant a single channel, but honestly the forum idea might be the way to go.
Everyday
Ok, as the server owner I thank you for reaching out to me and I will get back to you early January about this.
Early January, that's 20 more questions that will be asked that COULD have been answered ...if we had this channel.
I like this bc then we can make a rule that says you can't ask retarded questions over and over again like what the best pet combo is
same with the riddle answer
Its literally everyday. Some people are new and don't know, I get that, but DAN 8? It would be easier to have 1 channel for it where every answer is posted, not pins where people have to look through everything and not in game chat channel, just a channel that explains the whole strategy of the game for whichever phase you're in.
Is this still needed?

I think so, we still have people asking for best pets, best mastery points and not knowing whats going on in season. All could be resolved by reading, but everything gets lost in Game chat.
can shift all the basic early game pins there
What will happen if people still keep asking about stuff like this?
Do we just direct them to the beginner channel and such?
How do we determine what makes a beginner for example? The Dan Belt rank? Say 1, 2, 3 makes a beginner?
It's a channel for everything. instead of pinned messages, which people don't read, they can look through the channel and see where they are in the game, and then determine what to do / upgrade / use.
If someone doesnt know that they need to level pet bonds to unlcok more slots and where to spend amber, they're new. DAN rank doesnt meant anything anymore. DAN 8s still ask for best pets.
Yep. And people that only come into Discord once a month or something, they can be DAN 8 and just not knowing what's new, a channel would help
But whatevr, idc if he adds it, its literally the same shit everyday anyway
I think the argument against the new channel is that the info should be on the wiki, well the more places the info is posted, the better
Can post it there and pin it in steam.
I should post my late game guide to steam lol
you're naïve if you think people would actually do research instead of asking the same questions on repeat forever
How would you know when people read the pins without asking for things?
We only hear and see those who cant read
Id probably call the channel "guides"
Sort them from early to mid to late game
And euch of these hast subcategories where u can read about different parts like conquest pets ascension
That way it wouldnt necessarily clutter at all
And finding that Info would still be easy
Ok what is my focus on pets early game.... ok getting bond Level higher to get Addition pet slots... good to know
Not Sure how to decide who makes these guides/is allowed to post these tho
100% would help tho
Its just the quedtion of how it could be implemented
I wrote who can post/who decides what goes in.
I'm deleting this soon Sham knows about it, it's a good idea, it's up to him if he wants to add this or not.
Right now it's just a wasted discussion rambling on.
so why remove it?
thats the best part of it!
I still dont see why every new big game feature doesn't get its own channel. Conquest did. Seasons should have had #Seasons-ninja. Even the upcoming Dojo's, (#Dojo-ninja) otherwise general is going to be a spam of dojo pictures like it was before we got #👗fashion-ninja channel
I'm slowly leaning on the idea that a Season channel might feel like a pretty good idea, now that you mention it.
