Since we now have 4 classes of pets I suggest to add a 4th pet slot with new conditions like having one of the pet achievements or something related to pets, so u can equip a pet of each class at the same time again.

This is not as simple as it looks, unfortunately. It would greatly mess with all balance in the game.

Hypothetically, what if the 4th slot gets unlocked as soon as you get Ulrik?

Unlocking the last pet slot as at the same time that you get the "Beast Master" hero just sounds right to me, he's also a Late-Game unlock.

Yep, it's the Hero you get by reaching a total of 175 pet bonds.

175 is very small amount

I think it should be even later
not quite sure but it feels like i had Ulrik for YEARS
and i did progress quite a bit after obtaining him
yet its quite stale for a few months at my current place
so id probably suggest something like:

200 Pet total Star levels

or 250 Pet total Bond levels

or 175 Pet total Star levels AND 175 Pet total Bond levels

From what I know shamahan would like to keep it to a maximum of 3. I personally don't mind either of 3 or 4. But players keep bringing it up from time to time, so who knows - maybe he will submit to the wave of 4th slot suggestions one day :D

I sometimes don't read suggestion message chains. I'm glad I did with this one :D

Uhh anyways - the only reason I have for a 4th pet slot is a selfish, cosmetic one. Another idea could be that we can equip all our favorites but only 3 give buffs (or 4 if shamahan gets swayed)

maybe a toned down version such as you can only choose one of the pets bonuses
or only get the visual + bonding time
or you get 100% of first
80% of second
60% of third and
40% of fourth pet

there are options
biggest question is... if its worth it to go so far for ... just that

Oh that's definitely an interesting way too. One I haven't seen suggested like that yet
