When was the last time you got a 9 star pet? or 10? or 11? Right. Over the past year and a half, I have literally never seen such stars, imagine how many eggs have been opened in such a time. And look at the complaints about this from other players, the eggs are 10000% bugged and this problem needs to get attention. Don't tell me it's RNG issue. NO IT'S NOT SO. Not seeing such stars in a year and a half of opening eggs is a problem with the game, not RNG. One of the updates definitely broke these drop rates

same here the 35 eggs I opened gave me fuck all too I haven't even been able to use feathers to upgrade my stars because I just don't get anything better than a 4 or 5 star

Can somewhat confirm, opened 170 eggs since I started playing, nothing higher then 5-star ever dropped, every 7-8 star has been upgraded with dust

You can check in the settings what the highest star pet is that you received from eggs. 5-star in 170 would be beyond bad luck - can you confirm by sharing an image of the stat area with us?

I started counting how many eggs I open and the max pet star level I get. I suggest you to do the same, because the feeling of "I' haven't had a good pet in a while" is not enough to make this a case, even if it's something multiple players share... we need numbers to prove this, wether it's a bug or just "unlucky" players that share their bad luck

its really not impossible, I got 12 Stars on February. You can check the odds somewhere in the game I think.

I don't track this obviously, but if memory serves me right, the highest I got in the past months is a 9 star pet. I can't even remember when was the last time I got a 10+ pet. It happens that I get 7 / 8 stars, but the majority of pets don't exceed 5 stars.

there is approximately a 7.32% probability of you not getting more than an 8 star pet in 663 eggs
Thanks for sharing your number, this is something. It is indeed a low probability, you could be in range of -1 σ or -2σ in a normal distribution, but we'd need more than that to statistically prove some kind of recurrent bug.

I spent a lot of time looking into this and trying to find any issues - I didn't find any, the odds and the outcome of the eggs are the same as they have always been
In the picture you can see the outcome of opening 1'000 Eggs on a fresh account on the game version of v5.0.7 that came out on September of 2023
In the other pitcure is the outcome of 1'000 Eggs on a fresh account on the current live version of the game
The only oddity that I found was the displayed odds in the settings are displaying lower odds on the high star rolls than they should be and this will be fixed with an upcoming update
The Egg drop rates are working fine and I won't look into this any more
