alright i found a slight bug but theres a work around the spare tire on the trailer if you remove it you cant put it back on the work around is rebuild the hub so get a niv 5 hub and niv 5 brake disk and then you can put whatever tire you want on it and attach it back to the trailer

The trailer now stays as the gooseneck
The trailer was relocated to be next to the other trailers and no longer moves
The trailer is no longer paintable
The Fleetbed gooseneck hitch now mounts in the Niv truck and Jesse bed
Added 2 new tires but I need to adjust them a little bit

On the utility bed I can't get the middle door for the right side and the tail gate to mount. The middle door on the left i can mount but not open afterwards. And the hinge screw for it are on the bottom but it supposed to open upwards like the one on the right side. Just an observation from my side..

I use the bed on a B200 S and to fill the truck up i have to open the last door on the left side otherwise i cannot reach the gas cap..

Wow never try to tow with a B200S, even if there is equipment for it, and stock V8 isnt strong enough to tow, ended up having to pay for getting my junkyard wolf find towed anyway and I think it got every single part I actually wanted from it ruined, namely the floor parts of the body

and it seems like there is infinite friction on all wrecks and cars with less than 4 wheels attached, it just doesnt care, if its a vehicle and not a person pushing it it just wont slide on anything but tires, I literally had to step out and push both my truck and the wolf uphill, it is fun for aesthetics but I really cant see the practical use for this thing :(

Could the twin-hook-single-pulley-single-spool stuff be disabled/removed? It is impossible to tow cars that dont support the tow brace, and you cant use the ramp or car transport bed properly anymore

and yes, I described that too, it is fiddly, I have to take one hook, hook it, unhook it, grab again, line comes out, attach both to brace (on vehicle that supports it) check if winch pulls, if not, reattach hooks by taking them off and putting them back on, expected jank for early versions of anything, really

so what I am suggesting is to avoid that confusion (i thought the mod broke winches on trailers and ramp beds for B200L)
is a winch that has two pulleys and two hooks, obviously not knowing how hard it would be to relegate to such a new component

The functionality the mod adds is absolutely great, though, I can move wrecks and non rolling junkyard cars now with zero issue, I can even use it for shunting cars that are "dangerous" to run (like the rat I am currently restoring which has a broken pump and radiator) around the lot or from used cars lot to garage lot

I love this mod, so hard

actually having utility vehicles for my shop is great, sure I probably dont cut much out of that 100 credit tow fee and the time could have been spent earning more money but it feels much more like I am turning junkyard trash to custom shop gold when I get to start out the fun selecting the poor old thing and then getting the wrecker

and being an absolute menace to my B200L mainland cruiser/sunday driver, popping tires, crushing rims, bending frames, neglecting its massive custom built diesel, and having my poor little original B200S daily drive run out with barely any gear to recover it other than jacks and maybe whatever parts can fit in its bed, being able to turn it into a proper recovery rig has really done something

what can I do to prevent it from raising the front wheels when towing, though? I tried upping my differential FGR, putting 6 speed on it, but it still seems to put all the torque on the rear wheels and I couldnt get my B200L to fit any of the towing booms or anything properly

I’ve seen other people saying using raised springs in the back and regular ones up front help with not lifting the front wheels off the ground. Could even go as far as lowering the front, so there would need to be even more travel before the front wheels could get lifted off the ground

I got stiff coil springs from this mod on the rear, should try raised springs then, maybe the stif springs are too stiff and too low and thus cause all torque to be forced on rear wheels when under load

I don’t think the stiff springs actually do anything if I remember correctly it’s just to go with the mod, add an extra part that looks different than the normal one. Definitely try raising the rear end

You could carry some from subframes/crossmemebers that you built up all the way to having wheels on it, build 1 for each type(like a wolf crossmember, a lad one, and one for barts/chads) and then quickly install it onto the junker your trying to tow. Subframes/crossmemebers are 4 bolts to uninstall and install

Okay another user mentioned a "heavier front bumper" being added by this mod but I cant find it

the B200S is absolutely useless for towing, even with changes to suspension, tuned up engine, it only seems to get worse the more you try to solve the problem, it throws up its front wheels making steering impossible and towing causes more damage to the tow rig and the vehicle being towed than it does anything else

should be a B200L only thing but there are no B200L parts

things that do not work as solutions:
Rear drive axle delete (no traction on front wheels when towing, just slides, even on asphalt)
Careful adjustment of throttle (it just doesnt care)
Changes to diff, gearbox (stalls dramatically into the air like a horse that got stung in the ass by a hornet no matter wat)
Careful rigging of towed vehicle to have functioning suspension (doesnt matter, either too long on rear to not touch ground in an otherwhise somewhat maybe stable pulling orientation, it it just breaks during a sub 20 km/h speed tow anyway)
Violence (save 100 bucks on tow to garage, lose 5 digit number in damage to tow vehicle and towed vehicle)

i have absolutely no idea how to solve this, bigger springs didnt, wider rear wheels didnt, I guess short of stripped down wrecks with wheels on them there is nothing that can be towed because the tow capacity of the truck this mod targets is zero

the boom should probably have a different position so it doesnt move CoM so high and behind rear wheels as it does

the bias ply dually definitely helped, and adding the ranch bumper and bullguard (not sure if even relevant) worked too

not lifting non-compacts also worked

though I did manage to damage the junkyard find from 1700cr to 1000cr

probably from raising too high but I guess it was worth it because damage to NIV junk is cheaper than damage to my B200L tow rig which is already dinged up from failed attempts at dragging jessies and wolves out of the junkyard

though I am quite certain that winching is only done to recover vehicles from ditches, and that a rigid tow brace is used for transporting when on the road

also maybe fix for front end lifting of the tow rig is to actgually reduce engine power and stick to a stock, lower displacement engine, maybe not turbo diesel at all

i really want to ge this to work this mod is the most awesome concept

I fucking made it, first perfect tow and its a fucking B200 of all things

a fucking cargo van/light truck

Ethel is mortified at the lack of rotating chaos

Stiff coilovers are abvsolutely critical

I could take the steep and short route up to the mountain roads instead of through ruin near lighthouse route

Method:
Make sure coilovers on both rear and front, stiff
have an engine with good torque,
dont use keyboard but controller so you have fine throttle control
make sure all wheels on the rear of the vehicle you are towing are intact
Attach towing brace to vehicle to tow, attach hooks, (put first hook without line back, take second, put on, take third, put on, remove then reattach both of them, like just unhook without dropping, put back on)
Use mouse wheel instead of left mouse button (scroll down) to carefully reel in/out
make sure the front end is lifted, doesnt have too much slack, nor too tight (you will figure this out on rear end repairs)
Avoid damaging rear of the vehicle you are towing; never exceed 30 km/h on dirt/gravel and never exceed 50 on asphalt, be careful when going over bumps, climbing out of junkyard should be done without letting go of throttle, keep it light, only accelerating to prevent stall (5-10 km/h best)
Also avoid lifting the towed vehicle too high as that may cause "tailstrike" and ruin the rear end of your towed vehicle, too much slack will damage YOUR tow rig, though, too.
Breathe, bring snacks both for your character and yourself
Only perform towing on empty bladder /j

TL;DR: Tow mod is completely usable, just skill issue and disinfo amplified retardation, the coil springs are op-crit and use big engines, 3.8 or higher locked diff, need analog input on throttle

Gooseneck ball only work on utility parts flatbed or in-game regular box and the coilovers replace the leafs

yeah they replace leaf springs, use the stiff ones, sure the thing isnt stable at high speeds but you will get much less of the front raising itself up when towing :D

Mod testing:

Can't seem to find bolting holes on "custom flatbed" to screw it down

Utility bed: can't install tailgate
Utility bed: can't install middle doors

That's all I found wrong for now. What do you do to install cables on tow boom?

I believe you need a Tow strap one of the places you can one is the gas station in front of the main garage

Issues:
cannot remove shocks once installed
Cannot fill fuel tank when flatbed is installed
Flatbed bolts are not visible (hiding inside frame)

Lowered shocks are too low, transfercase drags

Iirc you use the pry bar for the shocks and for the lowered ones I think they have all ways done that

The beefy tires are from spaz offroad wheels. While the car adapter goes in a b200 frame and its bolted in if I remember well. Then you just start placing the parts of the car that you want

This is honestly kind of poetic, I had a F350 mod, bought at a junkyard that had basically just a gearbox and the flatbed on jackstands that somehow turned itself into a Chad. What more poetic than turning that Chad into a Chad truck? An F-Chad-50 if you will!

I basically made a monstrer truck tow Jesse. I didn't tow as great as you'd think but it actually was great to pull trashed out cars without caring much about the bumper damages. The truck barely cared if it had something hooked because of its height and wheels so you could tow slightly easier.

If it wasn't for the kinda buggy mechanics, it would probably be an awesome wrecker.

Since I barely hooked cars, I kept it in the front of my shop as a cool decoration xD But I deleted the game not so long ago sadly.

I have a 3060, Ryzen 9 3900x and 64 gigs of ram and I don't see much difference compared to you.....I've got a buddy also with a DDR5 rig, 32 gigs Ram, and 7800x3d and he sees like 10 fps more than me. This game takes a NASA computer to run...for no reason.

Yeah, the game is extremely unoptimized, but that's to be expected when it's only a single developer working part time. I respect the grind and the game is awesome apart from the performance issues! I heard that next update plans to optimize the cars somewhat, so that's good!
