Pretty much, Reason i quited making the better menus was the fear of having to rewrite the script and inital save system, Last thing you want is a mod clearing you save history because of one error on 1 line out of hundreds. Though i would like to do more QOL mods in the future, Coronet has drained pretty much all of my content adding effort xD

There's no way around it, definitely needs fixes. In order to move forward it's going to need drastic performance improvements and overall polish before moving forward with anything of decent size. The game has to have a solid foundation to build from or else it will just end up a broken unplayable mess.

However, if you want me to, I can check the Spanish translations and see if anything is wrong if you happen to have the dialogs and stuff that you needed translated inside a Word document for example.

Tbh, that's where this game shines though. When you think of the name "My Garage" antique cars are the first thing that comes to mind. It's what most of the population would actually have in their garage or would like to have. Not sure where the dev plans on taking the game but the vibe i get from this an old service station type business. You wouldn't normally find modern cars in that type of environment because the tools required to even do basic things on new vehicles is insane. That being said though, i'm not going to knock another person for wanting to be different, especially when their bringing their time, skills etc. to the table and providing content for the game. Most in which do it free of charge. Creative freedom is something most games lack. I honestly enjoy seeing the versatility of projects being worked on by all the different modders instead of everyone making the same old stuff. At the end of the day, there will be a little something for everyone.

Sorry for not responding earlier but I don’t see anything wrong with that. Can you send the .cs file from the project so I can make sure it isn’t some of the code you messed up.

If the part is attached to the car it should update the parts from scripts attached to the car it is very compatible so any part attached should work and it does all of the error checking it should so idk.

The code might be sound but something isn’t working. It’s the fun part of development when things should just work but they just don’t.

My solution is logging everything and see what doesn’t work in the code. I log to a separate file but debug.log works, but you should probably preface each message with your mod name so you can find it in player.log.

I would put a log in start() so you know the script is running. Every time the player car changes so under carchanged(). And in every if statement to see if they are return true.

If it’s working up to a certain point you atleast know where the code is breaking. Then you just have to spend a couple of days throwing shit at the wall until you finally figure it out. That was mostly a joke… Hopefully it’s simple

I know what is wrong and devised a plan to fix it. I’m not at my computer to make a hot fix real quick. A proper update will take time but you are right to bother me it is a problem. I’m not sure the best way to handle a hotfix. Would a version that has all 40 slots available be good? But people could just use that version to skip having to pay but is that really a bad thing idc personally if people want to cheat but you might not want to cheat. The other solution is make a button in mod settings that does it and it might be good just to have anyways in case the pause menu gets updated again so it’s what I will do. It shouldn’t take much time. Just keep asking about it and it should be fix quickly

Something happened to the mod in the new version; the materials don't change, the components aren't added, and the mod doesn't work properly; it only gives you regular game parts with your names and pictures.
