Yes, that intake is used for the turbo system. Which is why sticking your air-filter right there will cause problems. I suggest to either get the full turbo kit, or use the normal intake. And if you're looking for a soft upgrade, use the stock intake with turbo cone filter

Alternatively if you use the full turbo kit, you might be able to either fit the turbo cone filter or the stock air filter box

But yeah, using the turbo intake without the full kit... well that's what you end up with lol

Do you have vehicle extra parts installed? That breaks the e36 bc it has all the extra rat parts, so it breaks the e36 mod. And you have to have m50 installed too I think

I’d recommend just switching over to a rat already. You miss out on a lot of cool stuff from vehicle extra parts mod. And that mod has everything to make the rat look like e36, badges and stuff

The mod does work still but only if you don’t have vehicle extra parts installed. Veinsburg made it this way so the people who want to keep their original e36s can. But they have to deal with not having vehicle extra parts. Bc he added all extra parts for rat that mbdriver didn’t add. Like bmw emblems and stuff is in vehicle extra parts mod

It’s not the vehicle extra parts that don’t work together with e36(standalone) it’s m50 mod because in e36 mod has m50 mod attached and that way you try to load two same mods
Need to chose have e36(included m50) or m50 separate and use RAT in both ways you can use vehicle extra parts only emblems that are made for RAT not gonna attach to e36
