Thanks! Yeah iirc in real life the paintable bit extends a little bit to connect them, This was mostly just a model inaccuracy i made back when I first modelled it. And by the time i noticed it was already released 😂 (I try to avoid making mesh changes to parts that are fully released, to prevent corruption.)

would require me remodelling the front bumper too so that I could account the change topology wise (Both to avoid clipping, and to ensure crash damage doesn't go a little wild) So cant really say its something i would be doing soon, maybe in the future though. We will see, I wanna focus more on adding more customizable parts like hoods, lightbars, spoilers, bench seats, columns, dashes, steering wheels etc for now, Just so you all have a chance to make the cars more unique to your tastes.

on the 70 coronet i did have a chromed one uner the painted bit betwine the bumpers in the front its only a loose bit

and the crome bits in the front is the bumper and the price on the pices is weery high one buper pice is about 1100 dollars and one side of the grill is about 1400 dollars so its not cheap car to rebuild in irl

jsyk robin, i was cutting the welds on "cowl rear" and it fell off before fully unwelded

@tranquil prairie i removed roof, rear cowl, rear filler panel, and rear valance, and fender fell out with llike 10 welds on it still

inner fender came out too

only on left though for the fender and inner fender

100% wanna add those, the next pending content update is focused around letting you guys have more custom parts for coronet (As i know its a little dry atm, in terms of customization.) so 100% will be adding some of these parts, maybe those wheels too. (Ofc when i get back in 2027 😂 )

The base chassis is the same yeah. But it does have different vents on the rear, and a different rear end, boot, etc. Il see what i can do. I wanna fix the weld issues first though, before continuing with different cars like the 4drs etc. If i do a 69 it will most likely be a different mod dll, just to save space, Il need to find a way to tell if the 70 version is installed, so i dont load the basic chassis parts twice.

tbf thats a fair response, It annoyed me when i made it (Shading wise it looks not great) But at the time i forgot to make it more polished before releasing the mod lol, Maybe il add a new one with a different mesh one day.

Yeah I use that combined with a few Photoshop steps and the pictures look amazing. All that's left is using Eryvse's setup to make things look even better (The guy that specializes in W124s)
