u can build motorcycle excited?

haughty grotto

yeah i figured, i saw the frame on the catalog

You mean like buying panels from the catalog and then somehow registering that it is now a car?

Probably the best way to make cars from scratch is to get an item that can spawn a car "ghost" and shows a hologram of the car so you don't lose it. Then you can add a panel and it would become a car.

well yea

#

but pretty straightforward if you know what you are doing

And if its possible in game

haughty grotto
#

That would be awesome

try it

you can find one of those barn find cars and build a car off of that, theyre practically nothing already.

not needed, also unrealistic

I think instead if you could make maybe one of those cool tube cars would be nice. (picture below for context)

two things, one when you take every part off a car with the intention of putting it back together, it glitches out, and two, some dude has a video on youtube of him building a ford gt from nothing

It's possible to to build a complete motor.
It could become possible to attach the crossmemmber (pun intended) to such motor on the motor stand.
I mean, it's just 2 screws.
From that point on you could attach lfrontpanel and right frontpanel to the crossmember - again, just 2 screws per side.

with that the the motor would get unscrewed from the enginestand and there would be enough parts combined to attach the rest of parts to build a whole car.

Oh, of course you can simply get one of the free ghost cars (or other cars - doesn't really matter) and completely replace part by part.

It's just kinda frustrating that even by doing that you don't really get a valuable completely new car, for the value of it doesn't reflect the money put into it but rather inherits the low starting value (although none of the parts that caused that low value are present anymore) .

The ability to build all cars completely from scratch should be introduced and the matte colors should also return imho.

Except that requires rebuilding a lot of stuff since engine attaches to car, not crossmember

all existing cars would probly explode too

rugged sphinx

then how would
motor on enginestand
attached to gearbox
attached to car floor work?

sleek garnet
#

Engine isn't attached to floor / gearbox

#

Can you remove engine with any car part holding it?

#

Nope

#

You can put an engine on the engine stand yes, but is different case (object holds engine)

#

The other case was engine holding other stuff / attachable part holding engine

About that "ghost car" (which I assume means the rusted out wrecks that you find for free) bit, you're wrong on that, I've rebuilt those cars as well as junkyard cars and car shop cars, they all sold within the same price range, Lads $12000 - $15000, Chads/Barts/Jesses $22000 - $25000, Nivs $15000 - $18000, I do not think the final value takes into consideration the starting value, it takes into consideration the condition of the parts used to calculate the value. If your logic of the game taking into account the starting value was right, then you could buy a $23000 Bart from the car shop replace all broken/damaged parts and resell it for say $30000, but no, they still sell for a max of about $25000, so the starting value doesn't factor into the final value.
