I know you mean native support, but I'd had good luck running on steamdeck (minus no actual cloud save and un appealing controller layout) .
It works well with Proton
I can’t run it on Linux Mint edition, tho I could tinker around and figure it out
no it doesn’t, it launches and then crashes, what edition did you try
It launches the game then when I try a new game I get a a crash screen
its not my choice its currently th only computer i have access to
Which version of proton are you using?
do you know what the specs are of the PC you are using too?
Intel core I5 4250 laptop processor, with 8gb ram, I’ve tried experimental and have tried using 8.0
@lavish ravine go to game options and press Open save folder
The log will be there.
Did not think about this before
Also are you trying to play with new map enabled?
Try without it
No, it’s also a completely vanilla game
Good.
This is the way then.
I know Linux is supported since it worked for this guy on a Steam Deck, he was pretty happy with how it worked.
If I can figure out what proton version will work that’d be amazing
first mint isnt edition is distribution second i have ubuntu and it works perfect
I don’t really care that it works fine for you, it doesn’t for me.
It doesn't for you, but until you send the log nobody will help you
Since we can't
I can’t pull the log thats the thing
Eh, illl just suck it up and buy a windows laptop.
Why?
I have no idea there no directory
.
Literally opens the folder
why you should buy win laptop just install win
and yes provide please log your proton version (better if you send more info like linux kernel version, steam logs, x server or wayland)
and send your computer info maybe your pc so poor
