I've finished editing a song but now it's 2GB, how do I get it back to a normal size without compromising on the sound quality

Wavpack is good if you want lossless

#

Otherwise opus, aac, ogg and mp3 work too - they're designed to drastically reduce the file size without causing audible losses in quality

well if the file is 2GB, the easiest way to make it smaller is to split it up into parts and play those back-to-back
