I just downloaded Audacity, my mixer is not being recognized. I am new to home recording; may I have some advice on my setup?

So after plugging in your mixer, run Transport > Rescan Audio Devices. Note that your mixer may show up as USB Audio Codec, or similar.
Oh, and press the Audio Setup button.
