hi there! im having quite a bit of trouble exporting my project. i can export it fine if I leave it as untitled.mp3, but whenever I try to input a name from the built in explorer, audacity hangs, and requires a task manager boot. i could rename the previous files from unnamed to something else, but theres 2 issues with that. 1: i cannot replace the current file i already have since it is currently in my video editor, and 2: i cannot rename the file that is currently being used because again, the video editor would throw a fit. any suggestions on how to fix this issue? [attached is the screen it hangs on. nothing is clickable, and interaction does nothing. everything else on my computer is running fine, and task manager shows it as using 31mb of ram and no cpu.]

Make sure the destination path really exists, and that you can write to it.
If you're on a (home)network with a NAS, make sure it is 'awake'/reachable.

and the path is on an SSD that’s also my boot drive

update on this: it seems like using the keyboard at all in this menu [for example, to create and name a new folder in a directory] just completely breaks everything.

In any directory, or in "C:\Program Files\Audacity" ?

Is it possible to paste a name in the file dialog and save it with that name?
