Receiving the following attached error when trying to playback an Audacity file on my M1 Mac - any input much appreciated.

UPDATE: Can confirm mp3 export works fine but not playback.

Hi, thank you for your response - any input on where I can find my playback devices and any option Is hould select would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Please note that I have no devices available in the Preferences > MIDI Devices section

When playing an MP3-file, Audacity does not use a MIDI-interface.
Have a look under 'Devices' > 'Playback'

Please find the Preferences > Devices > Playback section of Audacity in the screenshot attached. Any other input much apprecited - please note the options under Device is MacbookPro Speakers and ZoomAudioDevice.

Please note I now have a new issue since doing a brew update earlier in the day that I am attaching now of an issue that comes up when trying to drag in an m4a file
