#New model is making some odd things happen

now, I believe you when you say that it is a good fully functional microphone, and that it is sounding worse since the update, but at the same time, how do you know for a fact that there is nothing wrong with the mic? Have you compared the audio quality from using a separate program? more information is appreciated.
I have check from not only the previous version of audacity but also from the Windows built in recording app and they sound better than what it is now
This is the stuff I did with the previous version of audacity
And now on the new updated audacity it sounds like I'm talking on a crappy and over used phone.
At times it's muffled at others it can echo, and even if I say hello it won't sound like I said it at all.
Hello. There are no changes to how Audacity captures audio from your microphone in recent versions. To match the specifications of your microphone you should use a Project Rate of 48000Hz in Audacity. Apart from that I am not aware of any issue related to recording quality being affected in recent versions but will take a look into the forum to see if there are similar reports.
No worries, thanks for the help
