The easiest way to host an umbraco environment would most likely either be Umbraco's own cloud offering (Umbraco Cloud), or a third party hosting that specializes in Umbraco hosting like UmbHost (@final sparrow) . Other methods like Azure are also popular, but require a bit more manual work to set up 🙂

Thanks @round fjord . I was quite curious about Umbraco Cloud but I couldn't work out what the site was offering me. Do they handle custom domains also?

And is it reasonably well priced ?

I don't think Umbraco Cloud handles custom domain registrations for you, but does easily allow for you to point custom domains towards it.
From what I can tell UmbHost does provide that service.

I have to highly recommend @final sparrow Umbhost.
We have been using him for a few years now and he has been great vakue for money and ablel to do lots of customisation
