I didn't quite understand what is not working for you.. the event is pretty basic.. you gain coins (only during stellar season by completing daily quests), invest your coins in any monument you want to improve, first two have to reach a certain lvl to be able to unlock the other 4, and to increase your stats from each one you have to deploy heroes.. based on their star level they give you more points.. the more points you add, the higher the unlockable buff.

Is this done on collective power of a registered legion to get a level playing field with more or less equal chances?
It seems the only and easiest way to make opposing teams.
And done like this in every game I played.
Is this the way it is done in Aoem?
It really is a question for the devs, but I cannot find any info on the Aoem discord or via google.

The reason why I ask is that there is a difference of opinion I am trying to solve.
When we have not enough players to fill a legion.... we should fill it with weak level players to get the minimum number required to register, ie 20.
The players not playing will have less influence on the pairing.

I always thought having commander lvl80 is better. One hero (support) would use epic gear too. It allows you to focus resources in 2 heros in one march. Ince you get 2/3 heros to 80, and have enough armor push 2 stars, then work on 3rd hero to get legendary and work your way to 80

The boundaries of the battle field help determine tactics. This includes the teleporting possibilities of enemy server castles on the server they attack. The ingame info needs some clarification on this.

would like to report a serious concern regarding the current Mightiest Empire matchmaking. Server 379 has been matched against Server 364, and the balance between both servers appears highly unfair.
Our server's highest player power is around 50 million, while the opposing server has a player at 72 million power, along with multiple other players ranging between 50 million to 60+ million. This creates a major power gap that significantly reduces competitive fairness and gives one side an overwhelming advantage before the event even begins. Such mismatched pairings discourage participation, lower morale, and make the event less enjoyable for smaller or developing servers.

Yes! 😭 usually, after decent recollection- you get higher but on the resistance, it goes forward 1 step and backwards 2 steps and so on and wasted all iron ore and ended up lest level than before 😖

I just think this is just not a good system, it should be at least better chance to get higher. This run was like 2% chance. Wasted so much iron ore, that I should have just used for intensification. Lesson learned. Not worth trying to re-roll anymore.

Heroes were unlocked through Tavern, Legendary Advent(Wheel is what they call it,the one u spend empire coins in), Marshal Marks & spending.

Meta usually refers to fixed marches lineup where majority of the player use. In your case, S1 you will see a lot of Mulans but she gets eliminate when Lubu comes in S2 etc etc

Okay, example. You have a lineup with troop capacity of 100k. You have 50k T6 and 50k T7 troops. You don't have enough to fully fill your lineup with only T7 troops. But in event arenas like Apex, it will ignore those open world troop type numbers and it will fill your troop's lineup capacity to its max with your highest researched troop type.

@brave oak this depends on your, if you want to play active, which is more than doing daily quests AND you are ready to spend some real money in a 60day or more period (1st season), than the strongest alliance will be an appropriate choice.
You can change alliance later if you do not feel good in it.

Oh damn, I see...150 to go for legendary...reached 650 but have one purple hero for 2nd pikes, only -> will I need 2nd equipment of same kind to merge it or can i use all my purple crystals in a row (I guess, I have enough for two weeks by now, when it is one forging essence per week in tactics store) for level up to the top (if it is comparable to medals)?

Help/discussion Regarding hero lineups/builds.

I’m indecisive in which direction I should take my hero build.

F2P, main is be guan/atilla/darius and it's whole progression but my question is what to with secondary march, I will not be using any EC or universals here ofcourse but curious what the sane options are for f2p, especially outside the warrior swordsmen. I am a noob myself but I'm telling you focus and synergy is the main power of anyone. Use gathering heroes for gathering I lvled 6 of them to lvl 25 (so march 4 is gathering constantly and march 5 will soon be unlocked, the others adjust) to unlock their gathering skills. You will however need a meta main team and a secondary of your own choosing, make sure to stack properly their type and specialty. Don't balance, specialize. Everything else will bring your progress heavily down This is advice from a longterm dedicated F2P player. Of course there is a LOT of place to adjust things here but both of us need more experience haha

Here's an easy one, probably. No one that I ask seems to know it for sure, except one guy but there's translation issues. If a second or third hero in a lineup have a skill that gives every other hero more chance of a critical strike, does that apply to the commander skill of the first hero?

Like do their individually shown stats add up to the same pool or does each do damage calculations of their own individual stats? How about the might adding buffs? I get horses as they specify the effect with exact precise wording but the rest is so vague.
