Here, I will write about the story of an Ex-Alchemist only known as Arck.

All I know right now is that he was in Krat for a long time. Whether he was born there or he moved, I know he was picked up by The Alchemists at some point, seeing his potential. His sister also joined him to the isle. I know of her name; Adriana. They swiftly rose through the ranks. Adriana would always talk about Valentinus' right-hand man, Simon, but he brushed it off as a little crush. His sister was selected for a serum experiment. I learned she promised Arck that she would be ok, even after the experiment succeeded. That was the last time they ever spoke. This lady was the Sister Adriana!

Adriana went under the experimentation and she would become Laxasia the Complete. Arck was eager to see her, but when they crossed paths, she walked by him, as if they never met. He called out Adriana, but she turned back in confusion briefly before walking away. Arck had seen many scarey sights, but none prepared him for losing his sister, even when she never died. In a fit of anger and betrayal, he took important research, tools, weapons, and fled to the mainland Krat.

Simon, being the dashing nefarious man, sent Laxasia to kill Arck as a true test of loyalty.
When Laxasia and Arck crossed paths at the door to the tower, Arck was sure to lose. However, it was a sunny day, so Laxasia wasn't at full strength. Though she was still stronger than Arck by leaps and bounds.
She had him pinned, but he pulled out a tool he stole, a Salamander Dagger, and stabbed her flank. This caused Laxasia to stumble over and allow Arck escape time. Before he crossed the threshold, he heard the lady call to him with his full name. "[Arck]! Your sister is hurt real badly!"
It was almost as if Adriana was calling out to him, causing him to instinctively turn to the sentry. He looked into the woman's eyes and saw...nothing. He finally accepted...Adriana was gone.
"MY SISTER IS DEAD! SHE WAS A SUBJECT FOR THE SERUM, AND IT KILLED HER!" He then turned and ran away.
He never said how he made it to Krat. He 'buried the hatchet' in a way by hiding the dagger somewhere in Vegnini works.
