I really Doubt P has any malicious intent he just doesn’t understand why this is wrong… Much in the same way a young child wouldn’t understand why they shouldn’t steal from others. Although that is a less extreme example.
I think that he does have feelings at the start of the game since when he meets Gepp after killing Mad Donkey his expression is like “What have I done?”

Corvid isn’t a completely heartless person. Although he can seem harsh and rude.
He hates seeing innocent people die. He witnessed it many times and even lost Emilie who was a woman he genuinely cared for.

Another big reason he was willing to help Owlette is because he thought he needed someone who would support him thanks to deteriorating health. But hated to admit that being the reason. Really doesn’t want to be looked down on as weak and pathetic.

I associate the Organ music in the Cathedral with Owlette since she was an Organist. Wanted to showcase more of that aspect of her in artwork but Ive been terrified to draw an organ.

Yesterday I visited the museum of instruments in Berlin (the 3rd time) and finally got the guided tour and a nice concert with all the fancy tunes being played.

My first Owlette artwork was created in April thanks to encouragement from people in the LOP community it’s always interesting to go back and see the little changes that have been made since the original idea.
My precious Carolie has changed quite significantly although most obviously is how my original design looked younger and more sad compared to the current design with a more mature look and a mask that completely hides her expression. I think this design is more fitting for the character as she isn’t young anymore and she actively tries to hide her true emotions

I recently redrew my old design for her
She wasn’t Always so aggressive her character acted more reserved like the Fox in the beginning but she has certainly developed her own personality especially with the harsh attitude she has which is quite unusual for a Bastard

Don’t have much changes other then that but certainly I have also developed a lot to her.
-Relation to the Cathedral the Alchemist and her role as an Organist

-Owlette’s family and Corvid. Almost just left him unnamed but the character was too important for that

-Added to Owlette’s backstory

-Developed Owlette’s relationship to the other Stalkers as well as her opinions on the divide between the Bastards and the Sweepers

Owlette will always be most precious to me I’m so proud of her

You can even see their differences in the way they stand. Owlette leaning forwards looking towards the ground while Red Jay stands straight looking forwards

He’s not a good person to be honest never really has been even as I’m developing more about what he was like as just a veteran.

He would spread Hateful things about sweeper Stalkers and he was seen as a person with a influential role in the Bastards

When she tried to give a Puppet a chance it backfired as the puppet went onto kill a women she highly respected…
I don’t like how brutal she is towards puppets either honestly but she’s only brutal because she thinks they are simply puppets.

Owlette isn’t brutal or violent towards people ||she’s only killed once and it left her with overwhelming feelings of guilt grief and hatred towards herself for committing such an act. Doesn’t help that it was someone she recognized from her past.||

Well… she was a teenager when she knew him and was really stressed at this time trying to support Alexei and her family.

Amadeus was able to tell she wasn’t doing well and did use that to his advantage…
He got on her good side by comforting her and helping Alexei. He never acted physically aggressive towards her or insulted her. Well he sometimes would insult her but he was usually very nice to her so she too often let it slide.

He would only Attack her later on when she’s Owlette and that’s only because he didn’t know her real identity. Carolie didn’t recognize Jay either…
This makes it quite shocking for Carol because she learns of a dark side to Amadeus that she’s never really seen before…
Carolie simply thought of Amadeus as a friend because she was with Someone else at the time so their relationship was one sided. Carol never expressed romantic interest with him.

Unfortunately though… Amadeus is quite jealous of her actual lover so he made harsh comments about him. Though tried to hide it by saying he’s simply expressing concern for her.
It doesn’t help that Amadeus already didn’t get along with him.

Unfortunately the conflict with him and his family got bad to the point where he was rejected entirely by them.

Amadeus had no idea what happened to them or if they’re still around but couldn’t care less about it.
He joined the Stalkers after being rejected by his family so they never learned about his success in the organization.

When you compare Red Fox design to the cat it’s probably the most obvious how different they are.

||The King of Puppets was seemingly remorseful after killing her sworn brother but she herself has never talked to an awakened puppet.

She doesn’t get to see Hotel Krat until the end of the story. Because she’s a normal person and can’t get past the security. But it will certainly be interesting to see her reaction to those two since they go against her beliefs of what puppets are.||

I can imagine that Emilia would definitely be fascinated and want to learn as much about them as possible

Owlette let P go without a fight at first because he saved her from the Scrapped Watchman. Although still wary about him she had a feeling that he wasn’t violent like the others.
Unfortunately she later found out he killed White Lady… which changed the way she viewed him entirely and made her regret her decision…

She doesn’t understand what puppets really are.
Owlette also wants to really make sure they’re broken beyond repair because she’s afraid that they come back up again if not completely destroyed.

Honestly I love the fact that despite everything she’s going through Carolie still keeps going and she still cares for the people around her even total strangers.
I believe it would be tough for anyone in her situation to keep going after everything yet somehow she finds the strength…
I feel like I’ve developed her a lot and I like how much depth she has…

Unfortunately the way Aegis is designed might intimidate her and remind her about the opera house.

But if it’s similar to her encounter with P then although she might not trust Aegis. She’d believe Aegis isn’t a threat and deserves to be let go without aggression.
That’s probably the best way Aegis can prove to Owlette she’s not a threat.
Owl would still be wary around her but she couldn’t justify attacking someone who literally saved her life.

I appreciate Emilia’s bravery but idk if trying to fight against an agitated Stalker is a good idea… Carolie wouldn’t intend to hurt Emilia but accidents can happen in situations like that… Maybe Aegis comes in to assure that Emilia doesn’t get hurt.
If Carolie sees Aegis defending Emilia or the scavengers this action can act as a challenge to her beliefs about puppets.

Owlette is afraid of Puppets because of how harmful they’ve been towards her and her family.
Aegis already looks scary in her eyes so even if the group was well intentioned while incapacitating her this could go the wrong way and reinforce that false belief she has rather than challenging it.

Jay the Bastard and relationships.

Emilie when meeting Amadeus thought he was pretty and really wanted to be with him.
Amadeus understood that Em was popular and he liked the attention that being with her could bring him. So would agree to be married to her.

They remained together for a while but Amadeus was unhappy with the relationship and didn’t really love her. Emilie would break with him soon after realizing.

||As a Stalker Jay ends up being responsible for capturing White Rabbit and bringing her to the Alchemist’s.
Jay believed they were going to help Emilie’s condition and didn’t realize they would torture her…
He ended up being the person who killed her not wanting her to suffer any longer.||

Carolie
Amadeus wasn’t really ever in a proper relationship with Carolie he loved her but it was one sided since she was already with a someone at the time. He was a Stalker

Amadeus still tried to get her attention especially after Emilie would leave him.
He used to comfort Carolie and help her take care of her younger brother Alexei but she only really considered him as a friend…

Carolie’s fiancé was someone Amadeus knew while he was a solider and also someone who he really disliked.
Jay would lie about him and tell Carolie she should be with someone who actually cares about her well being.

Amadeus lost all hope that he would ever be able to be with Carolie when she was confirmed to be missing and likely dead.
After this he refused to search for anyone else.

Jay didn’t recognize Carolie as a Stalker.
Owlette reminded him of Carolie but
Jay believed she was deceased so never put much thought into it.

Jay considered Owlette a traitor against the Bastards for helping a Sweeper.
||It’s only after he realizes that Owlette is Carolie that he feels regret about what he did.

During his fight with Owlette he went from smirking in satisfaction to utter shock and disbelief when he saw the real face of the traitor…||

Former Solider who retired early after severe injury. To his surprise his family was disappointed especially his father who considered him a disgrace.

Character relations
Sebastian: Elder Brother who was successful as a Solider. He often mocked and belittled Amadeus for his failures.

Emilie: Married for a short while when Jay didn’t truly love her.

Carolie: Began going to meet with her in the cathedral loved her for the kindness and respect she showed to him. But his feelings were one sided.
Amadeus began first learning music in hopes to impress Carolie but it grew into something he was passionate about.

Although Emilie wished for him to help her find Carolie when she went missing Amadeus already accepted that she was gone.

Amadeus became a stalker soon after his family cut all ties with him.
With the organization he found who he considered a real family and he would become quite influential by slowly building up his reputation.

As a stalker he would become a Survivor of the Workshop tower collapse suffering from burns and losing many of the people that he considered his family.

Hmm I won't consider myself a true musician, because I did the practise not even two years long...abit sad, but I'm happy to have been honest enough to tell early enough that I sadly didn't find the joy in excercising anymore. Our bought/ used piano was very heavy to push the keys and my hands cramped alot and my teacher scolded me for a rather bad hand pose, which I couldn't take in due these disadvantage circumstances...so it wasn't a use to continue.

I also can't really sight read scale sheets and wrote down they keys and learned the pieces by hear to fluently play them....but I still heavily enjoy all aspects of musical-classical themes thoug.

Some people asked me if I am a student or something like that. No just a geek with special interests...

I also didn’t have my glasses at this time so it was hard to see what my teacher would write sometimes I only got glasses after my graduation.

I feel like There were a lot of different factors which led to my art class feeling stressful.

Meanwhile Jay grew more cold with anger and hatred pushing him to punish others

facts about Jay

Suffers from burn scars after he was trapped in the workshop tower originally there to defend the engineers.

Blue Jay was friends with a bastard known as Leo who also had a high rank in the Organization.
Jay upon becoming a mentor was assigned to his friend's younger sworn brother.
He had very little faith in the boy's success as a Stalker. Yet accepted the position anyways believing that taking up a mentorship position could further his reputation.
Jay hid what he really thought about the Survivor to most people yet the mask given to the youth reflected what he thought about who the man was and would always be.

Jay and the Corvid stalker are pretty much rivals.

When Jay tries to capture Emilie Corvid was there to defend her but was shot and injured with Emilie believing Jay killed him.
Jay captures her taking her to the alchemists against her wishes.
Corvid has searched for the Bastard in blue and planned he would be the one to shoot Jay as revenge for the pain he’d caused as well as to find out where Emilie is

Jay isn’t unwilling to murder those he considers traitors to his organization he gave Owlette a head injury and attempted to kill her before realizing who she was.

Red Jay is a nickname given by an old friend as a reference to his true violent nature which he’s heard more times than his actual name at this point.

Crow fought against a Bastard stalker trying to capture Emilie. When he lost he it made it his mission to find that man and learn what he’d done.

Although Corvid had a relationship with most of the Black Rabbit brotherhood members primarily Eldest he’s not a part of that group.

He promises Owlette that if he ever dies she can have his mask and his weapons.
But unfortunately she never got his mask as it was already stolen.

An antagonist is a character who in media often serves as an obstacle for the protagonist to overcome

I honestly consider her an antagonist
That doesn’t make her a villain. There are many good traits that can be found in her. Such as her love and willingness to sacrifice so much to help others.||
I created the character as a tribute to the Stalkers who in Lies Of P acted with hostility towards Geppetto's Puppet.
Mistrust fear and anger all caused by factors which were beyond the puppet’s control.

So OCs order of events

1. Carolie’s brother Alexei is ill. After many failed attempts to save him she enters the Malum district in search of the gold coin tree.

2. Carolie goes missing and Emilie leaves her home searching for her.

3. They enter into Malum where they meet the Elder brother and a stalker with a Crows mask.
   Emilie explains the situation to them and the Crow agrees to help her search.
   During this time she’s taught to fight by her sister Alice and given the name White Rabbit.
   Corvid nicknamed her Pure Rabbit.

4. Emilie’s guardian hires Jay the Bastard Em’s former husband to get her daughter back explaining she’s becoming dangerously ill and needs treatment.

5. Jay gets into a fight with Corvid who’s wounded trying to defend her.
   Emilie begins to hate Jay believing he’d killed Corvid.

6. When Emilie is tortured and imprisoned by the alchemists Jay realizes his plan to help her only led to more pain and that the only way to save her now is to free her from the Alchemists torment leading for him to kill her telling her he’s sorry for everything he’s caused.

His grief over the loss of her and the betrayal of the Bastards who he considered family caused him to become cold and not form attachments to anyone because he felt unable to deal with the grief of it.

7. After losing Emilie Corvid has a fallout with the Brotherhood. Alice blames him for her sister’s capture. He himself feels guilty about his own failure to save her.
   After he escaped Malum he carried on with the search for Carolie Emilie would’ve wanted that.

8. Carolie discovers of the Gold coin tree picking fruit to take back to her dying family only to discover that she’s too late her old home is abandoned neither her mother Josephine or Alexei are anywhere to be seen.
   ||She sacrificed everything to save her family yet it hadn’t mattered. She hadn’t even been there for her brother when he died…
   she’s almost ready to end her life until she is saved by someone.
   A Sweeper had discovered her there. Carolie recognized him immediately as the Sweeper infamous for standing up to the Black rabbit Brotherhood||

9. After he saved her Carolie allies with Corvid knowing that she couldn’t protect herself on her own. Their goal was to escape Krat and live out the rest of their days as a family.
   Unfortunately Carolie soon discovered he was sick. She refuses to repeat the mistakes that she made with her family she cannot repeat that mistake.

As I’ve stated before he was also left immobilized by his injuries for a while.

Amadeus forgave his Eldest brother in the end helping him escape the City.

One little detail about Ama that’s just precious to me is that when he used to help Carolie take care of Alexei he acted very kind and caring. Carolie’s little brother looks up to him because of it.

OCs and their inner conflicts

Although Emilie is well liked by people In Krat thanks to her talents in fashion design she isn’t really happy because the way people often treated her is more like an object than a real person with her own feelings.
They care about her physical beauty and body more than anything else about her.
She doesn’t want to be simply seen in that way. She’s more than just her physical appearance.
She almost felt cursed by her own success
||That’s a big reason why she gets very upset about the alchemists taking her clothes from her during their experiments on her||

Jay is that he fears people are unable to accept him.
Amadeus wanted to gain the approval of his family yet no matter how hard he tried he wasn’t good enough.
Because of the way he’s treated by his family he believes people are unable to love or accept him.
The only way that other people would accept him is if he could prove his worth to them.

He found family with the Bastards and especially the leader

Jay’s mask is clearly Blue there’s just one red feather.
Well In truth there is no bird known as a Red Jay.
Although there is a Red bird known as the Northern Cardinal.
Red Jay is a shortened version of the slanderous name given to him after the betrayal of the Leader of the Bastards.

Updated OC story with new DLC
||Amadeus is grateful to have found family with the Bastards.
In a way he sees a father in his mentor.
The father he should’ve had rather than the one he knew…

Once during a training session Jay and Lumacchio get into a duel.
Lumacchio doesn’t usually lose and yet this time Jay manages to defeat him even disarming and taking his weapon Etiquette.

The Bastards leader is Naturally pretty humiliated after this.
internally he’s afraid the others will think he’s weak thanks to his defeat.
But in the moment praises his student for surpassing him in combat and understanding what it means to be a stalker.
Jay’s proven himself to someday be worthy of the position of Leader of the Bastards.

After this event Jays pride and arrogance grew, often bragging about being the strongest Stalker and that not even the Legendary Stalker could win against him.
He was jealous of the Women’s title and believed he was far more deserving of it.
When he lost upon getting into a duel with her he felt disappointed and wished to challenge her again this time to truly prove his superiority.

After discovering of the Dark Side of the Alchemists thanks to Emilie. Jay went to Lumacchio informing him that as long the Bastards worked with them he would resign from his position and expose their crimes to the world.
He hoped his close relationship to the Bastards leader would convince him but Lumacchio stubbornly refused.
Amadeus was ready to go his own way leaving everything behind but promised one final mission to his old mentor as a way to say goodbye.
Yet Lumacchio set it up as a trap to kill him.

Jay manages to escape but Lumacchio convinces the rest of the Bastards that Jay is a murderous traitor after his uniform is stained with blood.
The many years he’d spent trying to convince others he was truly Righteous was gone forever. Because now he would always be remembered as Bloody Red Jay and thanks to Lumacchio’s influence The Bastards turned on him.

"Whether you make it out of here or not doesn't matter to me frankly.
I doubt anyone would believe a mad deranged Lunatic like yourself.
You cannot harm me or my reputation. I will always remain but you are no longer of importance.
You will be simply forgotten.
We were friends once it's a shame you had to turn on me.

Though he never stopped wearing his old uniform and mask Amadeus stopped supporting the Bastards.
His dream to become the leader was crushed with Lumacchio’s betrayal and the Bastards in shambles; he lost everything he’d worked for.||

Sebastian witnessed the death of their father by the hands of puppets when he was rescued by a Stalker.
The stalker never told him his name; he already knew it was his younger brother.
Despite the poor way Amadeus was treated by him he helped Sebastain get to freedom only treating him as if he were another survivor.

Sebastian demanded his brother leave the city with him but the Stalker refused.
“This is Goodbye... live from now on.”
That was the last time Sebastian ever saw Amadeus.

The Eldest brother grew into a more mature person after escaping and realized the way his actions hurt his younger brother.
He looks back on his childhood self with disgust for who he used to be.
He’s desperate to know what happened to his brother and hates himself for allowing their father to have Amadeus taken away from him.
Maybe then his younger brother would still be there…

I’m finally going to continue writing for the Owlette story, I paused on that for a while but now I can continue working on it.

It’s a bit late I apologize this is just a random observation.
As stated in my OC Document the feather on his Mask is from a Northern Cardinal they’re those birds with very vibrant red Feathers I feel like often associated with the winter season

One particularly interesting symbolism for Cardinals is they might appear to send messages to people from loved ones who have passed away.
Sorry I’ve been talking about this specific OC Ive been thinking about him for a while.

Although they both seemed like very different people Jay and Emilie got along together very well when they were kids. Because one thing they do both have in common is they wish to be seen and respected by others.

Emilie is often frustrated by Jay working as a Stalker feeling as if she never gets to see him. He would typically leave early for his work and come back too exhausted to want anything to do with her.

Jay doesn’t want kids because he believes they deserve to have their father around
he thinks he’s not going to have enough energy to take care of them.

So kinda precious but also sad detail. Not written in the OC doc unfortunately.
Emilie once sings fascination for Jay as a way to try and comfort him while he’s sick after a nightmare.
She was someone who admires Adelina.
And Fascination itself is meant to be a Love song.

The song Fascination is important again because when Jay is about to kill Emilie he starts singing it for her. Both as a way to try and comfort her. He’s a musician too and doesn’t know how else to react.
It’s kinda like in musical’s when the characters have Arias they are overwhelmed with emotions they sing because they cannot speak.

I genuinely hate my imagination. Dear lord please can’t they be happy???

Redoing Emilie’s background.

So she’s born in the slums area without much power or influence. During that time she met Erin.
He’s maybe slightly older but not by much.
They were friends until being separated.

Emilie was taught how to sew and crochet things from her mother. She’s really the one who inspired that passion in Emilie to become a designer.
But after her parents deaths ended up being adopted by an influential alchemist. Alice (Youngest) is a stalker

Emilie later returned to Malum to find Carolie and meets the Stalker who resembles a Crow who agreed to help.

So she recognized soon that Crow the whole time was Erin the boy she thought she could never see again.

This background is also why she’s so willing to swear and use no filter rather than caring for formality and politeness.

Ok I’m not making more prominent OCs but there’s just ideas happening.
How cool would it be like if the apprentices for both the Sweepers and Bastards are siblings?
Since I have the successor of the leader of the Bastards I suddenly thought I should do the same for the Sweepers. This would also give me an actual reason to include Veronique in my lore somehow.

Not only that but for a while I’ve thought about Amadeus having a Sister known as Francesca but they’re not around. Likely she was disowned by the family earlier than Amadeus will be and unlike him she didn’t have someone to support her thus leading her to become part of the lower class.
Kinda like the opposite of Emilie how she starts out as a poor girl but is adopted into the high society

Random idea that came around.

If the city is ever able to be saved Vermilion would try to make a statue for Veronique and the rest of the sweepers killed in the Laboratory defending Krat a memorial for them and a way to honor them for their sacrifice.

So one of the things I noticed about Rosaura was what I felt like could be similarities design wise to my OC Emilie/White rabbit. Since they both have mostly red in their clothes and long brown hair.

It made me suddenly think that maybe Emilie might eventually get to warm up to puppets thanks to becoming friends with her.
And Little Rosie becoming a cute nickname for her.

Emile used to be afraid of puppets thanks to their uncanny creepy looks and a nightmare she once had about becoming one. But ever since meeting the little puppet she starts to see not all of them are bad and might even get attached.

Hell I think it would be cute if she views her as her daughter. Since Emilie had wanted a family with Amadeus and yet he refused the idea believing he wouldn’t be a good father. As he’s valued the responsibility’s of being a Stalker more.

I like the idea that Rosaura’s life after the DLC wasn’t completely sad and she’s able to move on finding a new family after Carlo.
Unfortunately good things don’t last forever since Emilie is taken by the Alchemist’s

Since we don’t really know much about what happened to her after the DLC I feel like there’s nothing saying this can’t be possible.

Vermilion is not a person but an awakened puppet. Created originally after Marian lost her daughter Francesca she was overwhelmed by the grief.

Their father only agreed knowing she had potential to become a powerful solider unlike Amadeus or Sebastian who had human strengths and weaknesses
But after Marian was killed and the Puppet refused to comply with his wish to join the Soldiers he could only think about was the way that people mocked their family for having a puppet child
One day Amadeus overheard something it was his father yelling at her
“You’re not my daughter you never will be. Useless puppet!”
The next day she was gone.

She doesn’t speak and uses her Stalker attire to try and hide her identity

Veronique eventually learned about her being a puppet thanks to her power and resilience beyond ordinary humans.
But grew to care so much that she hid the fact.

Veronique was criticized heavily for choosing to train an apprentice who was mute and unable to speak afraid she was unqualified to handle public speaking or leading others and was that Veronique simply chose to train Vermilion thanks to her close relationship

So, some notes about the Guillaume family.

Marian Guillaume was a Former sweeper. Her weapon used to be a scythe, which resembled a Black Bird. This weapon has long been abandoned by her. She joined the workshop to bring back what she had lost.

Joseph Guillaume is not originally from Krat; he came from a family that had a long history of fighting as brave, unrelenting Soldiers.
Feeling as if he must uphold the family’s legacy, he would do the same to his children, following an old tradition that would tear his family apart.
He brought his children, Amadeus and Sebastian, to fight as soldiers as young as 14 years old.

When the city turned into chaos, he lost his life defending his Eldest son.

Children.

Sebastian Guillaume: the Eldest, although the pride of the Family, and having a good reputation, he was frustrated with the expectations being placed onto him and developed the tendency to lash out at his other siblings.

Sebastain escaped Krat thanks to the Blue Jay Stalker.
He feels guilty that he didn’t stop his father from leaving Amadeus.
The day he did that, he left his brother to be killed.

Francesca Guillaume was the twin sibling of Amadeus, always staying close by him. She wasn’t usually one to speak. But would’ve spoken up to defend her brother from being mistreated
Her death was sudden it left Marian mad with grief.

Amadeus Guillaume. Grew up believing he had no worth and the only way he could prove himself was to join the military like his brother. He suffered through a near-death experience and is left emotionally vulnerable.

Emilie is a famous fashion designer in Krat thanks to her talented designs, her unique and beautiful appearance, but most for the inspirational story of how she escaped poverty, becoming part of the Upper class.
Emilie supported Amadeus after he lost his family’s support and joined the Guillaume family. After her marriage to him.

The family has Ties to the Adessa family with Marian, who was friends with Josephine.
Amadeus often spent time with Carolie, helping her take care of Alexei, the young man used to look up to Amadeus, and Ama developed a love for both of the siblings.

The crescent moon is seen as a light in the darkness. A beacon of Hope for those struggling in dark times.
This was what the family was supposed to represent: the weapons both Joseph and Marian originally used have a Crescent moon engraved on them.

During their final mission inside the zealtor laboratory.
Vermilion was separated from Veronique who lets out a painful scream.
Her adopted daughter was the only one left of their squad now she’d suddenly become separated.
Unsure whether Vermilion was alive or dead Veri only remembers the last thing she said
“You are indomitable Veronique never Surrender!”

Ever since that day Vermilion has fought to honor the sacrifices of her comrades. Even if she couldn’t save them
She refuses to let their memories be forgotten.
Once Krat can be fully restored she plans to herself create statues for each and every member.
It makes me kinda emotional I’ll admit the way that Vermilion is so determined to honor not just her mentor but the rest of those who died to defend Krat.

Ok so I figured out the situation Corvid Is currently in during the story.
He is very secretive about his true name and identity.

His relation to LOP:
as a younger man he used to work with the Eldest of Black Rabbit Brotherhood and Alchemists like Simon Manus. He was a friend to the Eldest but after a falling out between him he was left with the infamous reputation of being the only person who could challenge the Brotherhood and somehow come out of it on the Top.

He refuses to go back to Malum district.

His relation to OC:

White Rabbit knew him when she was a kid growing up in Malum but they were separated after she lost her mother and was adopted into high class thanks to Ellena.

She was surprised to meet again as adults when Emilie went on her mission to find Carolie who she believes disappeared in Malum.
As the Crow stalker agreed to help her.

He promised White Rabbit that he would find and take care of her Friend Carolie and he does end up helping her. But although he found Carolie he could not save Em from being captured by the Blue Jay. Ever since that day he’s become determined to find the arrogant Bastard in blue.

He is unsure of how he gained the petrification disease but he believes it was from White Rabbit since she had it before him but unfortunately unlike her he doesn’t have any way to relieve the disease. He has no way of slowing it down either. Seeing the way that other people have lost their humanity and become a monster
He is becoming deeply afraid of what the disease is causing to happen to him.
What he wants the most is to protect Carolie. But what if he becomes the one who kills her? He’s forced to separate himself from her but swears it’ll be a short while once he finds a cure for the PD disease he will be back and that they will still escape Krat...

Left alone he’s growing desperate and once again chooses to work with Simon Manus who promised not only a cure but a way for him and Carolie to leave Krat forever.

However Simons cure was you guessed it a Lie not only was it not a cure but it actually makes the PD symptoms and his carcass transformation even worse.

His Missing Mask can be sold to Geppetto’s puppet by a merchant. It has become a valuable item thanks to the reputation of Corvid.

Owlette’s mentor sacrifices himself trying to give his family a better life

Vermilion’s Mentor sacrifices herself to expose the Alchemists cruel injustices and so those in Krat could have a better future.

Jays mentor sacrifices his own apprentice to save himself.

And then people wonder why Jay ended up becoming so uncaring towards others so cynical when he’s been treated like an object his whole life to be simply disposed of once they longer find use.

Fransesca and Vermilion

Francesca Guillaume was someone who unlike her brothers refused to participate in their family’s tradition of violence and bloodshed Instead she looked to the Arts becoming a performer Something that her father did not appreciate.

When she was attacked Fran stood up for herself and her brother Amadeus. The siblings became close thanks to the way they were both seen as troubled children by their father and Sebastian.
Yet her life was taken after a brutal violent attack. One which her brother Amadeus was forced to witness.

Vermilion.
After the death of Fran Marian and Joseph both collaborated in the goal to not just create a Puppet but the perfect Puppet. Marian created the puppet in the image of her deceased daughter whereas Joseph made the puppet to be what he considered to be the perfect Solider.
It was merely a weapon to him.
Marian died shortly after Fransesca’s death the family was no longer the same.
Joseph became more harsh and uncaring than before.
His brutal and unfair treatment led to Vermilion leaving the Guillaume family behind.

Vermilion identified the Blue Jay as a relative to her thanks to the Crescent moon symbol on his weapon.
She finally had found him.
“Amadeus it’s me. Fransesca.
I’ve found you”
She hoped he would be glad to see her yet there was something else when she saw his face
There was pain and anger.
“You’re not my Sister… you exist to remind me she’s dead and I’m the reason why!”

He hated the puppet most for the fact that she was made in the image of Fransesca.
Vermilion was the biggest disrespect to the memory of his sister.

Determined to never let the memory of her fallen comrades fade she dedicated her life to remembrance. She plans herself to create a memorial for them someday once Krat is saved.

Jay’s anniversary comes close late next month I’m feeling a little impatient haha the anticipation is truly killing me.

One of the things that I thought about when creating Jay before Overture released was who is the type of person to represent the Bastards how would this person act/treat others. Jay was a antagonist he is oftentimes selfish and arrogant in his pride.

on retrospect I find my ideas were not only valid but many seen to align with the way that Lumacchio the leader of the Bastards portrayed.
The prideful and arrogant man who refuses to take responsibility for his actions and justifies his crimes.
It doesn’t matter much it’s just cool to see a game that I love so much use ideas which are similar to my own proposals

I love the idea of Geppetto’s puppet who’s from the future telling Veronique in her final moments that her apprentice Vermilion managed to Survive.

It brings a sense of hope in a hopeless situation to Veronique that her squad wasn’t all completely killed and that this won’t be the end. Vermilion will continue to live on and fight for a brighter future.

Veronique is putting full faith into her apprentice Vermilion that someday even if she won’t have the chance to see Krat recover. Krat may someday be saved.

So I’ve been thinking about Marcel recently who’s Carolie’s former partner since he has a design now and I kinda realized something.
Blue Jay being the petty Bastard that he was might’ve been responsible for having Marcel be captured by the Alchemists… I imagine him claiming Marcel was an ill madman who needed to be cured. Funnily enough the same thing Lumacchio will later claim about him as justification to leave him to die in the Laboratory.

So Jay really got this man captured and abused because he was jealous that Carolie chose the Owl over him…
To be fair Jay didn’t understand the full extent alchemists cruelty until witnessing how they abused Emilie but it’s still fucked what he did. Claiming an innocent man is ‘Mad’ and trying to use his authority to have him punished over bullshit.

Random fact about the Blue Jay
He is someone who although was opposed to alcohol at first thanks to his fathers substance abuse despising it to the point where he wouldn’t let Emilie drink eventually got to a point where he was miserable enough to try it.

That night Lumacchio had to drag him back home and apologize to Emilie about the situation.
He already knows she’s gonna be so pissed about it.

Blue Jay during the hardest time of his life had been rejected by his family.
His father had shown him no true love or respect. He had been left with nothing. He was injured he felt powerless… he thought perhaps his pain would go away if he could end it all.

As a Bastard The Blue Jay swore to never be worthless again.

Some notes about Emilie since I’ve started writing about her recently.
Her name was inspired by the Countess from a Plague Tale spoilers for Requiem
||The Countess is the secondary Antagonist of Requiem someone who desperately wants to be a mother but cannot birth children.
Her husband count Victor in a way to bring Emilie hope lies by saying she’s the mother of a god known as the child of embers.
Countess Emilie in her desperation to be a mother deludes herself into thinking it’s true and she believes she’s found the Child of Embers that being the secondary Protagonist Hugo Derune. She becomes obsessed with him and tries separating the boy from his family so she could keep him as her child going as far to murder his biological mother Beatrice.||

White Rabbit Emilie although being well loved by Krat and having anything she could possibly want Is a lonely and depressed woman who has developed this want to become a mother to take care of children. but never did as her husband always refused.
She hated puppets at first thanks to nightmares she had about becoming one but will eventually warm up to them when meeting Rosura.
This is taking place after the DLC
Emilie started treating the puppet as the daughter she should’ve had but never did.

Emilie’s last name Carlotta is a feminine version of the name Carlo.

If Victor references Frankenstein in LOP then the char of White puppet is a reference to Frankenstein’s bride this is probably most apparent on her design with the stitch markings that can be seen on her awakened body.

Her Stalker name White Rabbit is more obviously a ref to the White Rabbit who brought Alice down the rabbit hole.
Shes the one who led to Jay and Owlette realizing how truly corrupt the alchemist are as an organization.

The White Rabbit theme at the same time represents Innocence and purity. Meanwhile
The alchemists Attire represents the loss of that innocence.

So this is a idea I’ve had for a while and I think it’s favorite thing about Carolie’s attire
it was a gift from Emilie to her and the reason she has an owl theme is because her Fiancé at the time was an Owl as well.

Since Owlette’s stalker attire is a gift it is something that she treats very well.
You can even see that her attire and Emilie’s clothes look kinda similar but they also contrasts each other.

a bit about the Solider puppets. This fact isn’t that important so I haven’t mentioned it before but the way that the solider puppets fight is a copy of the Stalker Blue Jay. Since Venigni once watched the way that he fights and was inspired by it.

Jay is understandably not the fondest person about these puppets who can replicate his fighting style perfectly even better than him. So they’ve become some of the few puppets he genuinely despises.

My OC Jay the Bastard/Amadeus had his original design first established on October 28th 2024 as stated in the Directory.
I checked my calendar and 28th turns out to be this Tuesday must closer than I thought.
All of my LOP OCs will be a year old as of that date.
Crazy to say that.

Vermilion is an Overture Char so I’m not counting them.
Anyhow I’ve been Working on something special. It will short but I genuinely put a lot of passion into it. 💖

Random facts about OCs and their relationships to Canon characters

Lumacchio and Patricia Corday were in a relationship, certainly they once seemed to care for one another.
That’s how Amadeus met her.

Tbh this is a HC with no real evidence I just like the idea of it.
I imagine Patricia probably wasn’t aware of his much darker side at the time. Similar to Alidoro

I also like the idea of Patricia being protective of her Sister, Adelina, both out of love for her sister and fear of losing another person she cared about.

Owlette is inspired to want to be a stalker by both Patricia Corday as the White Lady and her at the time fiancé Marcel, an owl-themed stalker.
As such, she requested that Emilie make her Stalker attire to reflect both of them

Corvids mask was found by the Parrot while impersonating Alidoro. Parrot knows this mask is infamous and tries to sell it

Francesca Guillaume was once friends with Sophia Monad.
She also loved instruments and would often be the one to repair them.

After Vermilion left the Guillaume family, she stopped imitating Francesca, instead choosing an identity for herself.

The name Elysia, which Vermilion chose, is one her mentor Veronique often tends to shorten to Elise
Elise being a reference to Fur Elise.

They’re getting along how Cute

So uh some of the story ideas for Vermilion/Elise or Elysia

Vermilion her whole life has been searching for a way to become a person. She became highly interested in P seeing how he evolves and grows throughout the game to become more human.

So during the Base game events vermilion would ultimately find what’s become of her Brother. She refuses to simply leave him. So she decides to go back to the abandoned home of the Guillaume family. He was buried in the woods where he often used to spend most of his time.

Although vermilion had tried to help Amadeus during the Base game he refused her help being cold and distant towards her.
She didn’t understand why he acted that way towards her.

While there Elysia somehow discovered a way to relive moments from his past especially distressing moments. The moment she ended up seeing was the moment where Amadeus Lost his sister Fransesca
Now she understood her sibling had a rough life.
although most believe him to be a murderer Vermilion knows that wasn’t who he was
She hopes that perhaps somehow she can expose the lies and show the truth of what really happened. How corrupt higher ups in the Bastards organization used a naive young man for their own gain.

Now that she’s proven that the existence of going back in time to certain memories is possible she wants to try and go back in time to save her Mentor and the Sweepers

Amadeus ended up getting kicked out of his family being considered a disgrace this is after they realized he developed a sickness at some point.
Joseph paranoid about the petrification disease made the false assumption it must be early stages of it.
Fortunately for Ama he was wrong.

So I HC that Krat thinks that PD is spread through contact pretty much which is why Corvid assumes he must’ve gained his PD thanks to Emilie.

Petrification disease is currently rapidly spreading through Krat and is something they know very little about and Joseph wants to protect his oldest son Sebastian.
So naturally in this situation the best way to handle it is to force your sick child onto the streets to survive or die on their own. Amadeus is very lucky to be friends with Emilie.

Hand the Father of the year trophy over Geppetto

I’ve wanted to talk about this for a long time honestly there’s a ton of connections ahhh-

So Romeo has connections to at least 3 of my OCs
The blue Jay met Romeo and Carlo thanks to meeting Lea while he was still a human but Corvid and Owlette ended up meeting him as the King of Puppets

Corvid: The Eldest
So this one and really Corvid’s association with the Brotherhood in general came from how Crows are often seen as symbols of death.

Carolie:
Nobody knows much about what happened to Carolie’s father but there are rumors out that suggest Andreus to be her missing father someone who abandons his wife and children.
To this day it’s really unknown whether this is true or not.
Josephine is the only one who knows for certain what happened.

Josephine. After losing both of her children and everything she once had she changed her name and identity.
Ultimately becoming the Atoned. She is left with nothing but guilt and hopes that what she’s doing now can atone her of her sins.

Owl Doctor: Carolie’s former lover and Ultimately the one who inspired her to become a Stalker.
Their relationship ended early with complications leading to the Doctor trying to move on from her with Adelina.

Jay: I’ve talk about this one quite extensively I feel but Lumacchio is Amadeus’s teacher and he highly influenced him for better and for worse
Amadeus loved his mentor viewing him as the father he wished he had rather than Joseph Guillaume.
But in the end Lumacchio betrayed him too leaving him to be killed justifying it as a need for survival.

Amadeus was once a forgiving soul. He didn’t care what his mentor had done all he wanted now was to track him down and to stop him from whatever stupid thing he was planning.

Lea:
The blue Jay often expressed how much he wanted her noble title
The Legendary Stalker.
He Boasted about how he was so much more powerful and deserving of it.

He met Lea the first time at a celebration of Sophia’s birthday where he once expressed his interest in joining the Stalkers.
What she said to him would stick with him forever.
“A noble goal Be careful not to lose yourself in that fight.”

Vermilion:
Veronique when she begins to mentor her first apprentice feels inadequate.
All she sees in the world is the pain and injustice’s being caused it makes her cold and bitter but she’s not uncaring.

Mad Donkey. Used to be an ally with Vermilion until he realized the truth about her that all along he had been helping a puppet.
He felt a fool ashamed of himself for falling for the Marionette’s clever trick. He wondered if Vermillion was ever a real person.

Emilie. Is the older sibling of the Youngest. Unfortunately when Emilie becomes part of High class they were both separated from each other.
Emilie later when she goes back to the districts doesn’t want her sister to see her with PD assuming she’d think her to be weak.

Short list of less important characters who have appearances

Survivor: Jay’s former apprentice. He used to fear his mentor but will eventually stand up to him in order to defend Owlette.
Amadeus is surprised to see such bravery from a man he judged to be a coward.
The mask given to the survivor being a reflection of that belief.

Sophia Monad:
Young Monad was Someone who once admired Emilie Carlotta and the story of how she escaped the lower class.
During her later years Sophia would have to watch as the Alchemists like Simon used and abused Emilie powerless to stop them.

Parrot: A thief who manages to find the mask that belonged to Corvid an infamous stalker.
He took it seeing the opportunity to sell it for a large profit.

Robber Weasel noticing she’s a Bastard attempted to steal from Owlette.

White lady:
She was someone Carolie admires as a Stalker.
Patricia felt unhappy as a Stalker. Her true passion had been ripped away from her. But in her final moments she felt proud seeing the way she influenced Carolie.

1. Both Carolie and Josephine thanks to the Krat disaster changed their names and identities

2. Corvid is a private person he doesn’t like to share things about himself like his real name or face it’s as simple as that for him. Emilie and Carolie are the few people who he does willingly share that information with.

3. Vermilion feels ashamed of her identity as a puppet and that it is something she must hide from the other Stalkers this becomes worse during the frenzy.
   She wears quite heavy armor and attempts to hide most of the obvious features. Additionally Vermilion doesn’t speak to the other stalkers and is solely mute around them since her mechanical voice is a dead giveaway of her marionette identity.

Vermilion wants to be like a person and to experience what it’s like so when meeting Geppetto’s puppet she is fascinated by the way he’s seemingly becoming more human as the game progresses and she wants to be able to learn how.

4. Blue Jay later had to go into hiding thanks to Lumacchio framing him of being a murderer and traitor.

Jay couldn’t hide himself from the Bastards who hunted him and so they were murdered in a desperate effort to stay alive.
The guilt of such actions towards his former comrades has had a devastating toll on his mental state.
He has lost trust in everyone and has major fear and paranoia towards others.

Owl is one of the Bastards who he was Scared was trying to hunt him which caused their fight to begin in the first place.

You know I thought about something that I find very very fascinating.

Although the Blue Jay hated the Solider puppets in a way they would act as a way of honoring him since their fighting style is quite inspired from him.

Which Remembrance is ultimately what he had wanted...

About Sebastian Guillaume.

Although it’s true he has made mistakes in the past such as bullying his siblings he genuinely wasn’t an evil person.
A lot of the notion that Sebastian was terrible comes from Amadeus’s bias perspective which makes sense. He’s felt tormented and bullied by Sebastian for much of his childhood and even worse Sebastian is the favorite of the family.

Amadeus after being severely wounded in battle never had his father visit him but Sebastian did go expressing concern about his sibling.

The truth is Sebastian has had no control over his life.
From the beginning he was always meant to be a Solider. It didn’t matter whether this path was what he wanted or not. He must always maintain a good image for the Guillaume family. He could never say no to his father. He was too afraid of his father to say no.

The way Sebastian bullied his siblings came as a way to deal with the frustration over his situation and feeling as if he has no power. He picked on Amadeus ever since his brother’s near death experience.
In a way Picking on his younger more vulnerable siblings made him feel like he did have power and authority over them.
Sebastian matured as an adult realizing what he did was unacceptable.

Thanks to Carolie we can learn that Sebastian does genuinely regret this behavior towards his siblings.

When his father was ready to leave Amadeus to die. Sebastian wanted to do something to stop him but simply stood by and watched afraid of what would happen if he tries standing up to their father.
He hates himself for never doing anything to stop him maybe then he would still have his brother…

I like that at the end of the day Amadeus will eventually be able to understand that and will not really forgive him but decide no longer to hold a grudge against him.

Ultimately Sebastian despite being the favorite was a victim of abuse just as the rest of his siblings even if he wasn’t the one who was harmed the most.

Joseph Guillaume with his family created an environment where rather than encouraging the siblings to work with one another and to care for each other he put them up against each other.

Joseph sacrificing himself to defend his favorite child doesn’t redeem him but what it does show is that he was not a completely selfish character and he did care about Sebastian.
Which I find to really interesting.

Like how can you genuinely love a child while actively doing things to harm them?

Legendary Stalker: Corvid became a guardian for both Carolie and Emilie and similarly fought through the petrification disease to protect others. He has gained a reputation that he isn’t proud of and doesn’t like the attention that it brings to him.

Carlo: Carlotta is just the feminine version of Carlo
Emilie’s someone who Corvid failed to protect and had been searching for an explanation of what happened.
Ellena’s refusal to let her daughter pass caused her to become the White Puppet. Similar to how Gepp made P and the Nameless puppet out of grief over losing his son.

Romeo: Carolie
Blonde need I say more?

Romeo is seen to be very compassionate and caring as seen in how he talks to his mentor. I imagine he used to care for LS during the time she was ill with petrification disease before the events of Overture.

Carolie herself used to help her own mentor while he was suffering with PD
She is a young woman who would put herself into dangerous situations in order to save the people around her.
She would prefer herself to suffer more than then people who she cares for which is why she went on the quest to find the gold coin tree to begin with.

Geppetto’s Puppet: Vermilion.

Vermilion is a puppet created by a technician out of Grief over the loss of a loved one.
The puppet is fascinated by the word and curious about humanity.

Vermilion feels as if she has no identity of her own.

The fact that Blue Jays are part of the Corvid Family is interesting when it comes to OCs. It shows that despite how much Jay insists that he’s better than the crow they aren’t as different as he thinks and neither of them are better than the other
