This is my log
As you can see, the slider in the top right side, is at the maximum zoom.
you shouldn't use this plot. look at the PSD instead
also you should never use rpm harmonics count = 2
try to start rpm near 220-230 and adjust fade range.
for harmonics use set rpm_filter_weights=100,10,10
watch gyro PSD values to be about -30dbm after filtering
also you should fly in full throttle range for filter tuning log
Thanks Mike. No clear this first point. You mean that for RPM FILTER to don't use 2 but always 3 harmonics ? And min freq 220- 230 hz ?
I don't know this CLI command. I'm a beginner. Where do these numbers work ?
use rpm_filter_weights instead of harmonics count. weight 100 means 100% harmonic power, weight 0 - 0% power
It's the first time I hear this different way to manage filters. Where could I read something about it ?
The harmonics count will eventually be removed.
But is it symilar to Rotorflight gyro page ? Where can I assign a Q to the harmonic it require ?
But is it symilar to Rotorflight gyro page
I'm not sure I'm completely aware of this matter.
Q is same for all three harmonics and could be tuned via cli. just type set rpm_filter enter and you'll see all available parameters
Now I'm curious.....and I will investigate about this different way to operate. Thanks for your precious advice
Mike sorry, a good target in filtered gyro, how many dBm do I have to see ?
With a medium of about - 40 dBm can I assume a good result or not ?
gyro filtered below -30 is more than enought.
Thanks. I will do some test on my Pavo and on my 5" Apex with stack Speedy Bee F405 V4 55 A, based on this PSD.
Mike sorry , see my logs FILTERED , after your advices with PSD mode , but on my 5" frame apex , motor 2450 kw 4S. What do you think ? Must I work again on filter tuning , or could I be satisfied ?
it's hard to tell without a log, but you should identify the source and filter roll 90Hz resonance
Apart 90 Hz on roll that I'm trying to identify , about the rest what do you think ?
What could it be about you and your experience ? Tried to change battery, different size, but nothing.
Tried to improve the fixing of the rear support of GPS and DJI O3 antenna, but nothing.
Checked all screws, nothing.
I can't understand what can cause this 90 hz only on ROLL.
Frame is new and never crashed. Propellers are new and also motors.
Yaw and pitch, about me, are more than ok.
Thanks for your support Mike
it could be frame resonance or anything else, just let dyn notch filter it
Now my dyn notch start at 120 Hz and stop at 260 hz.
Try freq min 80/85 Hz and max 260 Hz ?
Or better a static notch at 90 hz cutoff 80/85 Hz ?
static will appear on all axes, dyn is better
Mike good evening , this afternoon checked the FC and wiring ; I found two wires of buzzer and cable of camera DJI O3 that were exactly on gyro of my Speedy Bee F405 V4. Moved both wires far from gyro. Photo before and after. Test again with a similar flight , but nothing...... 90 Hz always present. Tomorrow I will try dyn filter at 80/85 Hz up to 250 Hz and Q 400. I have no other ideas on what operate......
