#Using DJI RC 2 With Betaflight 4.5.0 through O4 Pro - SBUS greyed out
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I'm having the same issue, i bought a mobula 7 with the 04 air unit. i was able to pair the dji goggles 3 and get video feed from the drone, but i am unable switch the receiver to sbus ( because its greyed out) on betaflight. I have changed the ports as shown on the rotorvillage website to allow for sbus to use the dji rc3, but still nothing.
Which version of betaflight is it running?
I ended up solving this with help from Osiris in the chat.
In newer versions of betaflight you are only able to have only one radio protocol selected. So if SBUS is greyed out it likely means it wasn't in the build of the firmware on your drone. Is there one option enabled (like CSRF?).
You will likely need to reflash your firmware through the 'update firmware' option in betaflight configurator.
Make sure you save your setting config through the preset tab before building though so you can restore afterwards.
Thanks I actually ended up solving it. CSRF was enabled an I did have to reflash the firmware with sbus set as protocol like you said, they only other thing I had to do that you didn’t mention was flash in DFU mode. Whenever I would try to update the firmware without it, it would just get stuck and would complete.
Makes sense, I believe normally going through the flashing process, betaflight configurator automatically puts your FC into DFU mode by sending a command to it. So I haven't had to do that extra step. But yes it needs to be in DFU mode to reflash firmware
Glad that you got it sorted!
