#Pid loop frequency

On F411/F405/F435/G473 it's best to keep it at 4k to prevent issues relating to CPU overload
I didn't expect a reply this fast 😅 Thank you
F722 too, I've heard.
@uneven parrot And with a 4 kHz PID loop comes DSHOT300, as DSHOT600 doesn't offer any benefits at that rate.
Yea I have radiolink f722. Thank you
F722 is on the edge, it's generally good to keep it lower, but you can experiment with different settings and see how it affects CPU load
Yeah I couldn't arm my quad in the field until I lowered the PID loop to 4 kHz.. AFAIK I didn't have much fancy options, unless GNSS/RTH is enough to help the CPU over the edge..
Definitely no 8kHz/DSHOT600 on F722 with bidirectional DShot enabled. And you want bidirectional DShot enabled, as it reduces filter latency by milliseconds, versus the microseconds a faster PID loop rate gets you.
Aaah yes, I also had bidirectional DSHOT enabled. Of course. That was probably it.
