upgraded to 25.12, now no osd on vista | Betaflight | Page 1

Hello, new to this forum. I upgraded a HAKRC f722 flight controller to the new 25.12 rc2. I could not get osd working at all on the vista and goggles v2. Goggles have not been rooted. I tried reflashing both analog and digtal osd. No osd. Reflashed to 4.5 and osd works fine again.
What is wrong?

When you flashed the firmware, did you select an OSD protocol

Did you make a backup of your 4.5 config and apply to the RC?

i made a backup. but did not flash it to the new update. just did a fresh setup

this fc was on 4.3; flashed to 25.12rc2, could not get osd to work . so flashed to 4.5 all fresh settings, everything works as it should.

I'd try making a backup of the 4.5 settings, flash to the RC version and apply the backup. If there are any invalid config settings from 4.5 to the RC, they will show up in the CLI.

i dont wanna waste anymore time on trial and error. I just want a solution or ill stay on 4.5 and wait for another update

This is a release candidate so finding and resolving issues is a good thing to try and flush out.

Did you set VTX MSP Displayport at the UART which is wired to your Air unit?

yes, of course. it works fine on 4.5

Open the CLI tab
Click the "Submit Support Data" button

Wait for it to finish

I have already reflashed to 4.5. Dont really want to flash back and forth a bunch of times right now.
