I am using a Radiomaster multi tx16s radio, r-xsr rx, and betaflight f7 fc. Radio binds to reciever fine. But betaflight doesn't see its connected. I use Uart 6 in the port section of betaflight. Serial uart, Sbus settings on BF. Can someone help?

the firmware build does not support SBUS, only CRSF. Re-flash the flight controller with SBUS selected as the receiver protocol

Okay... so I set the FC for sbus then reflash it? won't it erase the settings when I reflash it? Then go back to Crsf?

Why would you want to go back to CRSF? Your rx uses SBUS, right?
You're supposed to build a BF firmware which includes the SBUS protocol to begin with, flash that and use SBUS in the Receiver tab of BF.

correct... I don't want to use Crsf... I am confused because when I flash it will erase the sbus... How do I flash it and have it remember to use sbus? I tried reflashing it a bunch of times, and it still woudn't accept sbus

"it will erase the sbus" << what do you mean by that?
You can save and restore settings in the Preset tab..
"I tried reflashing it a bunch of times" << without knowing which settings you used, this isn't very helpful information I'm afraid

okay, I didn't know you could save settings in preset tab. I'll try that

#

How do you save settings in the pre-set tab?

#

Then it will flash it and keep your settings?

Okay thank you! I haven't been on betafight in a couple of years. Getting back into the hobby

(Not that that Wiki page actually explains those buttons, but still..)

Yeah, its been so long since I used betaflight... now my quad is ready to go! I didn't know you set up the rx before you flashed the firmware. I thought you only did that after you flashed it and you connected your FC. Thanks again for your help
