I have not used either this drone or radio so I'm flying a bit blind, but I don't see anyone else jumping in to help so lets see what we can do.

Since the left side of the screenshot is the ERLS web UI I assume this is the Meteor 75 with a non-SPI serial receiver. Usually you get to this page by plugging in the battery, wait a bit, and then after it fails to bind it starts up a WiFi network which you join. So good job making it there and setting up the bind phrase.

The right side of the screenshot I see the BetaFPV configurator which is their special tool to manage the radio. I see you put in a bind phrase that matches the same 25,128,240,96,125,211 you have in the receiver. Looks good to me. Now we get into the questions.

  1. Did you hit "Save and Reboot" on the right side BetaFPV configurator after you entered the bind phrase?
  2. After you had the same bind phrase in the receiver and Literadio did you power everything off and then:
    1. Leave the drone battery unplugged, Power up the Literadio so that it's ready and waiting for the drone
    2. With the Literadio powered on, plugin the battery to the drone.
      • If the drone was already in wifi mode, it's not trying to bind to a radio. You have to power cycle the drone so that it looks for a matching radio for a bit, then it gives up and goes back into wifi mode
      • I don't think the receiver will bind if it's only powered through USB to flight controller. Normally a battery has to be plugged in to get the receiver to bind to the Literadio
  3. The last thing I would check is the firmware version of the Literadio. In the right side of the screenshot it was cut off from the top. Can you scroll up and show me a screenshot of the firmware version?

Thanks for a screenshot of the Literadio firmware version.

I see:

  • ELRS version on the drone 3.5.1
  • Firmware on the literadio 2.0.1

These are different software so it's not expected to have them match exactly. However I did find this reddit thread complaining about similar trouble with "lightradio 3 (Firmware 2.0.1)... reciever(3.1.1)". He fixed it by updating the firmware on the Literadio to 2.5.0. https://www.reddit.com/r/fpv/comments/16asu6r/elrs_3xx_not_binding_with_betafpv_lightradio_3/

Looking at the BetaFPV site I see 3.0.0 ( LiteRadio_3_SX1280_3.0.0_2024_11_08.bin) is the latest available firmware. I would try upgrading the firmware on the Literadio and see if that more compatible with the firmware on the receiver.

And the port that looked like this, expect it was COM5 before

#

Is now this

In the top right of the BetaFPV configurator is a drop down to pick the COM port.

Did you match that up with the COM3 you see in the device manager?

it seems that it doesn't detect it

#

the port list in configurator is empty

Consider buying a supported radio that has EdgeTX like the Radiomaster Pocket

I ll try this

Is there any reason why port only shows up when the device is in controller is in setup mode?

after updating it, it still doesnt connect and in the setup tab i can't see which version it is now and if the update was successful
