yes, it was not convincing to me. What does it mean "not comply with the target submission policy"? there is not too much detail what was the problem just this general sentence.

yeah, what is the problem exactly? and when the target was added the new guidelines were not in effect

Diatone designed this FC for ATBetaflight, without any involvement from the Betaflight devs. They were aware of the target submission guidelines, and had adhered to them in the past, but decided not to follow them in this case. A Betaflight target was made, but did not function properly, and it was decided not to pursue it further because Diatone was going to redesign the FC for Betaflight following the manufacturer guidelines.
