Hello everyone. I’m at the brink of insanity with this puzzle I’m having and I don’t know what else to do with this build. Build is a volador 5 frame with axis flying argus stack, flash 2306 motors 6s setup. Used supafly tune like I do with every quad and just tweak it a bit to filter noise and pids. This one on the other hand I’m having the hardest time getting it to run properly. I can take off and it flies fine. No motor noise, or hot motors, no oscillations or wobbles but when I do a throttle punch the quad will jerk to a random side. Never the same to indicate a bad motor or esc. I’ve tried flying on stock filters and pids still same thing. Messed with filtering and all sorts of stuff to the point that I don’t even know what else I can change or do to fix it. Anyone ever ran into that issue before?
#throttle punches causing jerking

Share a short log with just the inputs that cause the problem
Any wires near the gyro?
I believe that wires over gyro are overhyped. In reality, I have seen few problems solved by moving the wires. Statistically switched off filters are far more likely to be the source of the problem.
was having similar issue with axys stack, provide a log please
I only mention it because it just happened to me. I had bad shudder on full throttle due to rx and antenna wires next to the gyro.
During the first throttle up, the log shows first motor 1 then motor 4 drive going to max, while the other motors pull back.
Quad deviates because there isn't power on those motors.
In this second throttle up, similar thing happens, but involves motors 2 and 3.
Most likely cause is the ESC overheating and cutting output on that ESC channel until it cools down.
Probably a faulty ESC, so I'd swap it out for a known good one.
One thing supafly mentioned is that the motor timing could be an issue since it’s at 16. He said bump it to 23 and see what happens
Think I fixed it. Motor timing set to 23 and dmag to high and no jerks anymore.
23 = typically good for 5"
