#What does pinio_config do?

I'm trying to setup a switch to turn my naked GoPro recording on and off. While trying to get it to work I stumbled across the pinio_config setting and i couldn't find any resources about it on the internet. Has anyone a idea what this setting does? I' just trying to get a better understanding of BF in general.

What does PINIO_CONFIG_MODE_MASK and PINIO_CONFIG_MODE_OUT_PP mean?

I guess PINIO_CONFIG_MODE_OUT_PP means, that the pin has voltage if the function is true?
