#HD OSD freeze on BF 4.4.2 with SpeedyBee F405V3 w/ video

Hello all, I am getting random OSD freezes some time into the flight (usually 2-5 minutes). I already deactivated blackbox logging to no avail. When this happens, the video feed still works and the quad is controllable. Power cycling unfreezes, until it again freezes up in mid-flight. See it happening a few seconds into the video:

I don't see anything obviously wrong with the cabling from the FC to the VTX. But I did notice, that when the OSD is frozen, disarming on the ground doesn't stop the video recording like it normally does.

are you using balckbox?
this is a known hardware problem with SpeedyBee F405V3
you can use OSD or you can use Blackbox. Don't use both. the hardware shared SPI resource wrongly, not fixable.

okay, sorry for any misinformation. unsure why digital freezes. seems i've seen that question before, but i do not have digital for testing.

I tested it with the latest master and it's still happening. I may redo the physical connection between the FC and the VTX next. Just to rule out the most obvious errors.

It's sad that none of the big youtubers gave this hardware defect more attention, even a little PSA
