Without pressing the DFU button, the FC dosen't even show up in device manager.
Have any of you guys encountered this issue before?

I have already tried different PCs, different USB cables.

FC: GEPRC_F722_AIO
BF_ver: 10.9.0

Have you tried the Impulse RC Driver Fixer?

#

https://impulserc.com/pages/downloads - download the "Driver FIxer".

sudden cape
#

Yes I've tried it, ImpulseDriver can't find my FC.

hollow cave
#

Have you tried Zadig also?

sudden cape
#

Yeap. Can't identify it.

hollow cave
#

So, when you plug the FC in, does the computer make any noise?

sudden cape
#

In DFU mode it does, without pressing down the boot button nothing.

#

Any idea what it could be?

hollow cave

Well, this is gonna sound really dumb, but the last time I dealt with something like this, the owner had 3 different USB cables, none of them helped, he bought another 'data capable' one and it worked. Is it micro-USB?

sudden cape
#

yeap micro-usb; The thing is this cable works for my other quads

hollow cave
#

OK, if you're confident it's not the cable then that's good enough for me.

#

Have you tried flashing it in DFU?

#

(I would also suggest - which you may have already done - unplugging all other USB devices etc from any computer you try it on - just in case there's something weird going on there)

#

I would also run the driver fixer for the thing when it's in DFU mode too.

#

I've had new FCs come to me like this - seemingly non-responsive.

sudden cape
#

In DFU is where I get the 'Unknown Usb device' ; I've tried Impulse while in DFU mode too but to no avail.

#

Is there anyway to tell if it is in DFU mode, based on the LED on the FC?

hollow cave
#

I am thinking that I'd just keep trying with both Zadig and the Impulse RC Driver Fixer - because the system can see it, so the driver fixer should be able to pick it up run with it. I am not aware of any LED lighting combination that might indicate the FC's in DFU mode, doesn't mean there isn't one though.

#

(it would likely depend on manufacturer too)

#

What happens when you try the Impulse RC Driver?

#

Does it just say "cannot find anything"?

sudden cape
#

Yea it just gets stuck on the “Looking for FC” screen

hollow cave
#

And the Zadig program, have you replaced the USB driver using that etc?

#

(making sure you have "options"->"show all devices" selected)

hollow cave
#

I must ask too, if the FC is new, or been crashed recently etc etc. I don't want to be trying everything on something that's been crashed and stopped working.

sudden cape
#

It’s brand new never seen the skies unfortunately

#

I’ll give Zadig another shot

hollow cave
#

If you can't get any further we can (if you like) try a call and screen share to see if there's anything obvious (that I might see) that might help. My biggest thing with these issues is the cables, I have a deep distrust the of the USB cables...

sudden cape
#

Alright sounds good

#

I’ll get back to you after I’ve tried

sudden cape
#

oh my god i did it; No Zadig no impulse rc

#

All i had to do was unplug my ELRS RX

#

I wish you could feel how I feel right now

Port spamming for the win.
