#Hey does anyone know why my props and or frame would start resonating all of the sudden?

Check for anything mechanical. Screws etc.
Yea... I would check all screws including the flight stack screws. Gyro is clear of being touched by wires or anything else. How close is the props to your battery, frame or anything that would resonate a sound from the air coming off the prop.
It’s a source 1 v5 frame. Do you think a set of toroidal props could have blown out my bearings? I’ve never crashed this quad yet and I’ve flown it 5 times. The sound stated immediately after toroidal props
Last time I had a sound like this was with 23mm fpv cycle motors and as soon as I swapped them the sound stopped
I don't see how... but anything is possible. Do you still hear the sound when the props are off and you arm with just motors spinning?
maybe toroidals made your motors too hot and dried out the bearings? hot is fine, blistering hot is not. maybe jsut recommend tightening you whole quad up and triple checking for firm mountings
i tighten my arms real tight just shy of stripping bolts. those arm mount holes are a little to narrow to my liking, but i bought several of them due to price.
thankyou, everything is super tight now. I took the props off and spun up the motors and everything sounds normal. I need to re tighten my fc.
firm, but no hard "squish" on the silicone grommets.
just tested with props off. everything seems to sound normal
could black box tell me anything?
if you are tuning, or if you have problems, then analyze blackbox. i know only the basics, there are pro's here #blackbox-tuning-help or https://discord.gg/rHqhwpAXJH
I have another set of motors. I feel like they are the problem. I wish I knew what causes it cause ive had this sound on my last 2 drones
video with sound so we know what you are hearing. maybe it's no problem at all.
ok I think I can manage that.
also, on motors tab, spin up each motor individually (props off), and UI can show you values of movement via acc or gyro, thus locating "noisy" (vibrating) motors in comparison to each other.
if motors spin without the same concerning noise(s), then it may just be your tune as the source problem.
