what receiver do you have in the drone?
okay
just want to start this u know
does this "guy" happen to know what receiver it may have?
asking him right now
i know about betaflight and how to connect my drone to it
can i know somehow from there?
or maybe i can look on the drone to see what it is
?
the guy said frsky
okay
set the radio protocol to FrSkyX D8
then in Betafight Configurator set the receiver to SPI FrSky_D
do i set to internal rf or external?
internal
sorry had some stuff to attend to
no problem
now that you have both sides set up correctly, it should bind
and how do i do that?
there should be a bind button in the receiver tab in Betaflight Configurator
and the radio should have a bind option a bit below where you set the protocol
do i need my battery connected?
most likely yes
i dont see a bind button in the receiver tab
can you get a screenshot?
okay
there should then be a physical bind button on the AIO board in the drone
if you get a pic of it we can probably find it quicker
any higher in resolution?
okay yeah should be it
well the green light is flashing and a purple at different intervals the button doesnt react to being pressed
unplug USB and the battery, hold down that button, and plug in USB
actually maybe not USB, try with only the battery first
no blue light
i tried pressing the bind button on my controller but it just beeps 3 times and stops
still doesn't connect
hmm
and when i connect to the betaflight it resets my selected reciever options that you said to input
how do i know when the system load is complete?
all beeps finished I would assume
okay
i tried pressing that button but the green light just keeps flashing
seems like it doesnt respond
maybe its something with the status?
Let me know if you still need help, I have a little bit of time I can use to help now if you still need it.
i still do indeed
Did you get any further with this connection problem?
nope
but i think that my whole board could be fried or idk because i checked my motors on beta and only 2 were spinning
OK, if you have time now - AND will accept us doing this via a call and screen sharing - I can take a look for the next hour or so. Cannot guarantee we will fix anything, but can have a look over everything. Two motors not spinning could mean a Firmware issue - I have had something similar before where two of my ESCS appeared not to exist at all on a certain firmware version, but then came back to life on another version.
yea ok i will in a sec call u
OK, you let me know when you're ready, and I will call (I have to move into another room to do the call, so let me know when you're good to go). I'll send you a direct message, let me know there.
ready
OK< with you shortly.... Can you momentarily allow me to call please - you have a setting that only allows friends to call/message you.
