tinyhawk freestyle 2 powering up then shutting down

I have the thf2 that ive upgraded to just run on one 2s battery which is the only modification and one day one motor flew off so i had to solder a new one on it and the soldering joints look half decent but when arming the drone it will arm then raise its throttle for about a half a second without me touching anything then it will disarm and not turn back on for about a minute or so and i dont entirely know what could be causing it

Sounds like something is shorted and the ESC is trying to protect itself. Possible that when the motor was damaged the ESC was damaged also, so you may need a new board. Test by swapped motors around and see if your new motor works on another ESC output and see if an existing motor works on the affected ESC output.

i figured that it wouldve been something like that

ive had experience with rc cars and planes but never had a quad and they are more complex and compact especially the th2f so it was difficult to diagnose the problem without experience
