#Trying to update firmware for my MatekF405

Update: I did more research and it looks like the MatekF405 target was discontinued. Im not sure which Matek firmware I would flash onto the FC though.
you can try all of them one by one, most likely the one with the gyroscope working is yours
How will I know which one works? Will something not work correctly if the wrong target is flashed or will it just not work all together?
Oh sorry, you said the grysoscope my bad.
Alright, I flashed the FC with MatekF405STD. I tried to put my config backup in the CLI tab but now I am getting a few errors. Most of them say Error in set invalid name? How would I fix something like this?
most of them could ne due to cloud build options you choose while flashing
cloud builds work on the principle of excluding unnecessary features from the firmware. also between releases the names of settings change and the old diff does not fit
Ok I kind of understand. By the way, it seems like the GPS light in betaflight isn't on at the top. Does that mean that I have the wrong firmware or does this mean that I have it set up wrong on the ports tab?
most likely it means that you did not supply voltage (most of the FCs supply a 5v line only when the battery is connected) or you did not configure the gps all the way, and at last it would depend on the target
So the gps theoretically would work if I plugged in the battery
did you check the gyroscope's functionality? on the first tab with the accelerometer on, you need to move the Fc - the movements should be displayed on the model
yeah the gyro works
I see the movement
I plugged in the battery and still nothing
