I was changing some gps settings in u-center, based on the Oscar Liang guide https://oscarliang.com/gps-settings-u-center/. I noticed every time I disable the betaflight autoconfig the fc can't see the gps even if I only just disabled autoconfig and didn't change any other setting. Any explanation or ways to make the gps work on full power and higher refresh rate?

What GPS do you have? If it does not have flash memory it needs to be configured at every boot

I have an m8q 5889, just solved it I had the autobaud turned off

the problem came up again. If turn on the drone with autoconfig on, the gps connects regularly if I turn autoconfig off and repower the drone right after sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, mostly doesn't. If I just reboot it always work.

M8Q has no flash, it needs to be configured at boot. It does have a battery, but depending on how healthy it is and whether it's charged it could be dying quickly between power cycles. Why do you want to turn off auto-config?
