Trying to get a buddys racer tuned right. he has a fc with a bmi on it and is experiencing flyaways on preset tunes. It seems like the Fliter preset for BMI gyros was removed at some point so im wondering if you still need to have different filter settings for BMI boards.

It depends on the version of bf he is running as the meaning of gyro hardware lpf was changed. With new releases, hw lpf = default is heavily filtered and you wouldn't use the old preset

From BF 4.3.x there is no need for a specific BMI preset. The internal hardware low pass was adjusted to bring the BMI gyro more inline with that of the MPU6000.

i removed that preset as it was poorly tested and caused a lot of drama even though it had a big RED experimental tag
