Hello I recently purchased a hyte thick q60 and it was running perfectly fine up Until this point for some reason, the LCD scream. Let's step on the thick q60 logo, and whenever I go into the hyte software it says that my Q60 series cooler has got stuck.

I have attempted to email and submit a support ticket but nothing is working.

I have deleted the app and re-download it, force the application off via task manager as so on

#

At random times the screen works but other than that it flat out don't work.... thankfully the actual cooler is working no problems with changing the pump speeds and such just the lcd screen

I am currently having the same issue, It just happened recently. My screen started to almost lose signal and distort, I had closed the application and reset, still nothing. Did a factory reset and that seemed to help and then just recently as well it is down again.

Yes

#

Guys the screen was working properly for a decent while and just recently stopped functioning

polar mortar
#

Mine did the same thing. Jeremiah just has the same robotic responses to everyone, rather than letting everyone know that it's an ongoing issue and there working on it. The more logs you guys send the faster they will fix it it's a software issue of some sort

lusty pulsar
#

@polar mortar thank you

pale cobalt
# polar mortar Mine did the same thing. Jeremiah just has the same robotic responses to everyon...

It may seem robotic because some people don't properly plug-in their cables. We have to rule out anything physically wrong before pointing it towards a software issue. For full transparency, I gather the logs and present it to the software team once a week. I do what I can before I have to go to the software team for an issue. They are aware of this current issue but it does take time fix and test the fixes. If you have more questions I will gladly answer them.

For everyone in this post they are working on it it has something to do with the software so be patient it should be fixed within the nest few patches or that's what I've been told

tacit monolith
#

Yeah, mine has been spotty on boots. Sometimes it will post last image like its supposed to, other times it will sit there and try to detect the system. Usually a quick close and re open of the Nexus software helps, just annoying right now..

Okay glad to see its not just me, for a while i was good and its on and off, glad i'm not crazy

If this is after the update try closing nexus in task manager and then opening it back up to see if it works. We are aware of the Q60 connection issue and are working on a fix.

Hi, quick and dirty solution for me is to shutdown and power cycle the PS. After rebooting is Q60 back alive.

#

if this will be available - maybe can this issue mitigated for now?

oak lantern
#

nevermind... after a restart is back the same THICC Q60 screen 😦

I had this same issue on and off since I bought the Q60. After the latest Nexus update, I had to kill all other RGB controllers on my system, including Armory Crate and iCue. Before the recent update, if I disabled the ASUS plugin in Nexus and used Armory Crate, the screen would work 90% of the time. However, Nexus and iCue absolutely hate each other, and the screen would never load, so I don't use it all. If Nexus could control my Asus video card RGBs I would only use it and disable Armory Crate altogether. If you have other vendor software running, there may be a conflict.

Thank you for the warm welcome 😁. I too really enjoy the little screen. Yes, it is the THICC Q60, and will work 90% of the time when only running Nexus. Seldom do I have to completely uninstall Nexus to get rid of the Q60 rainbow border loading screen, or default pixel fish. I think the product was quick to market, and the development team didn't have the time needed to produce a fully baked product.

I'm so relieved I'm not the only one. Was debating on returning / RMA but it looks like it's software related in entirely on their end

#

Pretty sure I've spent more than two weeks on and off trying to fix this myself until I finally jumped in the server here to find out that it's everybody dealing with it lol

gentle zenith
#

Like I got to the point I was wondering if I should be patient or return it and now it's too late to return it. Truth be told I don't want to return it because I love the design too much and I really want to build a system entirely with their fans and such

slow oxide
gentle zenith
#

Yeah I fully intend to make it and some accompanying fans a part of the internals for a sleeper build I'm working on

#

Plus this is a part of jumping on a new product early and an acceptable risk. I think that will get it ironed out.

slow oxide

#

I have already sent in a bug report and logs ect

#

I have found it has no issues in the meantime when I leave it at the default military clock face

pale cobalt

Hello everyone! The Q60 definitley has its quirks and I'm glad you guys are stick with it. As you guys mentioned the team is actively working on improvements and we are currently working on some Q60 improvements to hopefully patch the most common issues we have seen. We really appreciate your patience as we keep working to make the cooler better. Sending in bug reports with log files helps speed up the process, as it gives us a more information and we can determine what are the most common issues.

gentle zenith
# pale cobalt Hello everyone! The Q60 definitley has its quirks and I'm glad you guys are stic...

I think a lot of people just get nervous that they do not send their stuff in soon enough as other parts manufactures have burned us before. More like we are used to it. As long as their is some type of guarantee that the issues will be fixed and/or we will have our hardware replaced if that is part of the issue and maybe is this is a little bit more in the spotlight for the sake of transparency.

#

Appreciate you being responsive. In the meantime any recommendations on what we should check that might interfere with the software would be appreciated 🙂

pale cobalt
#

We always try to be as transparent as possible! Regarding the disconnection issues, we haven’t pinpointed anything specific that causes it to interfere with Nexus. I’m experiencing the same problem on my system—random disconnections throughout the day, and after putting the system to sleep, Nexus won’t reconnect until I restart it. If I hear any updates from the software team, I’ll be sure to keep you all posted. This specific issue is in our next set of bugs we are trying to patch so hopefully it will be fixed in the next few updates.

so far with the new software, things have been running smooth on my end. I like seeing it work. It is hard to get used to 😅
