y70 screen black but responsive

I think I got everything right. But I’m not the one that did it. I don’t know a lot about building a pc but my screen on the case and it will do something on my monitors but it’s black. I don’t know what’s the issue. The guy that did it thinks it’s because of the motherboard.
Every time I leave the settings tab it keeps turning off and idk how to fix it.
Does anything else had that problem I’m confused

Hello! Could you please let me know if a display port cable is plugged directly into your GPU?

There's a cable running from the top of the screen to the rear of the case that should resolve this issue once a DP cable is routed from the mDP to DP adapter.
