Is nexus showing up in the task manager?
Why I try opening task manager my screen just goes black (hitting escape brings me back to Home Screen)
Besides the y70 is your main monitor the only one plugged into your PC?
Temporarily unplug the y70 Display from your GPU, and open windows display settings
Let me know once you do
Shoot! I had just left to do some side work. I’ll lyk as soon as I get back to it!
Thats alright no worries
Okay I unplugged the y70 display
are you able to open task manager on your main display
The apps are now opening up. When I went into display settings it was showing two monitors even though I unplugged the y70. It was a duplicate of my one monitor. I have since changed it to show only one
Yes I can open up task managerp#
Are you able to open Nexus?
Nexus is open
dont worry about task manager then
you can plug in your display, make sure your display settings in windows is set to extend displays
Set to extend these displays
Okay l, set. Now plug in display?
yeah
Y70 display? I to any gpu port yeah?
yeah
Ok open up nexus and proceed with setup
Okay give me a sec
No small black text is popping up after pressing enter numerous times 😦
You don't see the whitescreen with black text on any of the monitors?
Not calibrate ?
Sorry, yeah hit calibrate
Yes.
Ayeeee we are in business
Your inputs should only be registering on the y70 display if everything is correctly set up
shouldnt show up on your main monitor etc
yes?
Is there a way to prevent my cursor from going off screen onto the y70 display?
In game or just in general?
Games shouldnt matter since games typically lock your cursor to its window box
Gotcha!
I don't know if you can stop it in general use
Gotcha! Thx again Solskii I greatly appreciate it!

You might be able to play around with this app
Project page for Dual Monitor Tools.
It looks to me like its capable of doing what you want it do.
😱😱thank you!!
I've never used this app but I know its popular for its functionality. Let me know if it works out for you.
