The HYTE HG10 Headset Stand is a work-in-progress design that @spring marsh and I are currently working on together. We used the design of the HYTE Y60 as inspiration, and made adjustments to suit our needs.

One of the features we are currently working on is the integration of wireless charging. We are experimenting with different methods to implement it, but we're confident that we will find the best solution that works for this stand.

We would love to hear your feedback and any suggestions for improvements.

Its a thin piece to lay on top the though is to have a wireless charger under it for your phone

ohhh, is the wireless charging in this intended to be a phone thing rather than for the headset? I was having trouble processing how you'd get the sucker close enough

This is incredible

That's gonna be tough at that distance unless you can make something work in the arm/armband

#

admittedly I have not touched inductive charging since like 2016, so it may have improved quite a bit since then

#

(Did a few years designing PCB's straight out of school)

there is a channel for the cable in the arm/ headphone holder

Few bonus questions...

  1. what's the power button controlling in this case
  2. The box in the included picture, is that the same box as the white one on thingaverse? Is that just supposed to be the power supply brick? (not 100% sure, this might be slightly to small if it is though)
  3. Whats the battery capacity on the HG 10? I cant find anything specific enough online
#

inductive charging usually runs around 50% efficiency, so i'd be worried about capping out a usbC line on current if you are trying to charge more than one device simultaneously, but I also might be getting ahead of myself if we are just doing base drawings atm

#

😂

#

I think the surface area of the inductive charger matters as well? But i'm not super familiar with that part of it
