First off, The Forlorn Seeker!

This fellow, is not any normal Tarnished, no, of course not, he has to be special. He is, in fact, a creation, he is what would be needed, to commit all the atrocities and acts that the Player Character does; either a truly evil, self-serving, sadistic being, or, what he is, an emotionless, unfeeling artificial soul created by some Greater Deity to serve as a form of experiment.

He does not feel. So, no love, no joy, no sadness, no annoyance, nothing, or, well, that's what he should be. But, one cannot completely muffle the existence of a soul, and artificial he may be, but a soul is a soul.
But, in the beginning, he of course listens, does what his 'Creator' bids him to, killing indiscriminate, doing all that he does solely for efficiency and fulfillment of the Deities desires. But, like always with these 'emotionless' creatures, he begins to... slowly, feel.

He feels a pang of confusion when he's directed to kill a small bird for no reason.
He hesitates when the Deity directs him to do something completely different to what he is doing.
He pauses when he's told to beat a simple demi-human to death with his bare hands.
When Melina burns at the Forge, he stops to think.
When Alexander shatters in Farum Azula, he keeps a memento.
When Millicent is dying, he stays by her side until her eye's finally close.
When Boggart is suffering in a chair, writhing from the curse, he shudders.
When he is forced to put down Blaidd, he hesitates.

Of course, by the time he truly begins to feel, he's already standing at the headless statue of Queen Marika, his body burnt by the Frenzied Flame, and the Deity whispering in his mind to burn the world.
How tragic, how sad, finally feeling, but its after everything that made you feel is already gone...

It's 40 more hours of the base game, but more difficult and in a more condensed form, with very good bosses and less good ones. If you loved the base game and you're looking for something more difficult go for it, if you got easily tired by the base game i'd say avoid it 🤔 personally i liked it a lot

because saying that 40h is the average would indeed include 60 or more hours of gameplay, and 40 is usually what you get when you get through all the DLC bosses + get the most of the scadu fragments.
time spent on the game could also vary depending on if you summon or not, your weapon, the scadu fragments you have, all that jazz, but you can even easily finish the dlc in 30 hours or less with all the fragments, the whole map combed, and all the bosses done. 60 is really, really taking your time with it and not really representative of how much time you're likely to spend in the game. fastest playthroughs can go down to like 6 hours, but usually revolve around the 10-20 or so mark, slowest are around 50-60, so average's 40. it's not really a matter of only doing the required bosses or playing it "smartly" '^^

Yeah my fav enemy in the game is the magic staff version of the burial watchdog so I was really happy to find out u could use it also the skill is very fun cus I only ever do magic builds also I was never really a fan of the normal giant golems they just kinda felt like minor annoyances lol but I think the idea of the magic halberd could’ve been cool

I kinda hate the watchdogs with a passion, when you go up NG+ they become really boring and annoying to fight, they just don't care about you and whatever you're doing and will one shoot you if you get hit, no matter what.
And same, my magic/faith builds use mostly weapons with some support from spells and incantations. I would legit fight the magic golem a hundred time if that means a magic golem halberd that replicate the laser attack

Farming the sword (for a apair) was by far my worst farm, not length wise but just how painfull they are in high scalling.

The only good way to fight those and the crucible knights are parry, or you need to slap a wall that dosen't care for a few minutes until he suddently dies
