If you want to proc a status effect with special arrows, the Pulley Crossbow is perfect for it

Not for normal damage dealing really. As mentioned they're marginally useful as a status applying stick. But that doesn't mean you can't roll with some thematic build for fun, even if it's not optimal

Crossbows are hampered by the fact that they require stats but don't scale with anything. Which is a confusing idea to me. Especially considering that their main advantage over bows really doesn't outweigh the drawbacks. Being able to shoot quick without knocking an arrow first is cool, but barely useful in normal play IMO

That exact crossbow is cool for roleplaying as some wannabe van helsing though. Can do it right from the start on confessor. Crossbow on your back, cool longsword in hand and off you go

Ye, they work. I like the more down to earth, worn style. Regarding the flat top greathelm it works damn well with confessor armor too, especially with cape removed IMO

i love the confessor hood, i wanna try making it work next time i make something. the confessor armour is really cool and i could see it maybe working with some of blaidd's set. as for greathelm and confessor armour, i dont like greathelms with plate, but that's just my taste. i think they work much better with maille and cloth.

It's weird isn't it. I can see these kind of straps being functional on confessor armor, since it's meant to be travelling person's armor, it should be easy to put on and off without help. But the whole design of a one piece mail hauberk fixes that problem innately by being...a shirt basically. Unless that padding underneath is attached to the mail?

i think the cloth underneath is just a shirt, so it's unlikely. i think they made it so it's more of a maille jack than a maille shirt

which is a strange choice but i mean it's not the end of the world (except it is and i hate it!)

So things associated with elites often have french words in English even today. Like for weapons, armor, foods, etc. ever found it funny how beef is french, but cow is Anglo-Saxon. hey i'm trying to make a berserker armor cosplay from berzerk, anyone knowsh how to do that ? ive only seen people being able to cosplay guts without the berzerker armor. but i want to cosplay with it

without mods and stuff

best i could come up with for a berzerker armor cosplay is this :

its either the above or using something like this, just not sure what's the better between the two. could also use the fingerprint helmet but the pattern on it kinda ruin it

the maliketh helmet has fur tho, the zerker armor dont have any fur

and the maliketh helmet doesn't fully cover the face, your jaw is exposed when you use the helmet. its more of a visor than a helmet tbh

like the berzerker armor helmet does have something to cover the jaw when the armor goes berzerk. so, i wanted to recreate that look which the maliketh helmet can't, since it doesn't have anything to cover the jaw

Welp imo the maliketh helm is the only option, as you may have seen most berzerk cosplay don't have a helmet, it's because the only close enought helmet is this one, i can ensure you that using it with the raptor's black feater it's fire

i still need like 25 faith and 60 vigor and 80 str on the build and i dont think you can wear 3 of them even if you max out endurance lol

welp if you choose light armors for the legs and gauntlet and use the erdtree favor +2 and the greatjar arsenal it's possible to reach medium load, you can also equip the multiple sword for bossfights and use the physique for light roll

Putting around 60 in vigor and a good amount in dex arcane

Good, Godskin peeler scales best with dex on physical damage if I'm not mistaken and arc is good for status

Cause it's a bleed build and I'm only lvl 46 so my stats are kinda messed up right now but I'm going for 60 vigor with a 3:2 ratio in dex arcane

So like 45 dex and 35 arcane
