Yeah there are 2 skill check bosses, so after you beat them you're basically comfortable with the game. However, the best part about it are the NG cycles. You need to beat the game twice to be able to do the true ending, and that allows you to do both basic endings, but also the game's missions change during the cycles. E.g. new ones appear, or you have a choice in the mission to completely chnage how it goes

Honestly well worth the full price imo, even if you beat it in less than 40 hours with all 3 endings depending on how you view value for money

Not only missions, but new weapons unlock too. No playthroughs felt the same tbh, also you don't really need to care about your choices in the first 2 endings. I'd say just make note of which missions you already did so you can do the other choices. E.g. one mission is ambushing for a 2v2, and the other is 1v10, and you need to choose between thode two that run

Have fun bro. It's a really good game and you won't realise just how good you get until you do your 2nd or 3rd run. The difficulty is very balanced as you progress

In pve it’s a little difficult to work with, but if you set it up with perhaps a stance ash of war and the appropriate talismans, you can rack in about …. I think 3k? If you do everything correct. (With one winged Stance full charge hit)

As a reward? Yeah I also felt that the dlc was… lacking. The only actually “good” dlc boss rewards are ||radhans|| swords. Plus after exploring (the beautiful but often.. kind of empty) areas, I’d find a cookbook for… a dung pot or something

Overall the dlc, no matter how massive and well made, perhaps the best dlc in for soft history, feels a little unfinished. I see it in boss fights, area outlays etc. it’s a shame because if they had taken just half a year longer and polished it, it would have been nigh perfect

I’d say mesmers are pretty good, but yeah a lot others could’ve been done better like a lot of the weapons looked great but were just too weak or lacking in ability, but YES I only ever found cookbooks I was like oh new item! Nvm a cookbook

Messner and rellana are by far my favorite fight in the dlc. Right after comes midra ofc.
But they did my girl dirty. No cutscene. No dialogue. Not even a face.
I love fights that are like a duel, have an aggressive flow. And that is Messmer, midra and rellana.

Her lore is detailed but it is very much lore you have to go out of way to find out and search in depth for it, we should’ve had way more about her, she is the opposite of malenia basically she EMBRACED the rot and became one with it

Euphoria is a tuff cookie. I tried it and never liked it, simply because I like my weapons practical. As in, my ash of war needs to be… well like a regular atack. Euphoria is insane during boss stance breaks,
Hitting the aow during the hippo stance break SHREDDS that hp. But anywhere outside of boss rooms, euphoria is kind of.. a mid double blade

I like euphoria, it’s just… I genuinely just hate dual blades. I don’t know why I just don’t like the moveset. It’s so…stupid? Ofc in a game where there are dragons and magic and what not, logic in fight moveset is not highest priority. But.. like just use a spear?? Or a halbert? You gonna stab two people at once?
