my interpretation was that it'd kind of be miquella's vision of the lands between outside of his dream. i feel like the bosses have a lot of parallells to other bosses ||(the lion boss's mask resembles Serosh (godfrey's lion), his omen horns and features resemble Morgott and his lightning spells resembled Godwyn. Then Messmer seemed to be a mix of Mohg and Rykard with the snake and the glaive looking a lot like Mohgwyn's sacred spear. You could also see the fire giant in the giant wickerman boss and Radahn in the skeleton riding the horse.) it just all seems so heavily influenced by existing characters||

I think your exactly right. This realm is controlled by Miquella, and therfore the enemies (especially the bosses) would be influenced by his imagination, essentially. This is why I think Messmer is Miquella. Messmer is clearly the final boss. I think he's Miquella's manifestation of a strong and powerful being to compensate for his weak, childlike state in reality. My belief is that Triana (Miquella's female form) enlists our aid to free Miquella from this corrupt manifestation of himself.

It's Miquella's manifestation of Serosh. We enter into this realm through Miquella's hand, therefore it would make sense that this shadow world is perceived through his dream state.

So somewhat new to actually making my character look cool. Is there a difference between equipped gear vs visible equipped gear? Do I have to choose between stronger gear and the weaker gear that looks cool if I want to look cooler?

Unfortunately there isnt a way to equip gear thats purely cosmetic. Once you get to a certain point you know the game well enough that you can get away with wearing whatever you think looks cool and switching to something more defensive if you’re really getting your ass kicked

But overall you gotta decide whether you want the stats or the Drip™️ more

I personally lean towards the looks because gotta look fabulous when you’re saving/ending the world

ah so on the maus set the confessor hood doesnt hide the crest

on altered knight sets (o cape) you can cover the crest with the hood, just tested on the other knight sets

i just put on all kinds of helmets and hoods and none of them hide it. it works on the other knights tho like gelmir, leyndell etc
