but to answer your question its because most of the armor in this game is modeled after later styles of knightly armor, but my favorite style specifically is hoplite style armor worn in the classical era. i'd imagine a lot of other people share the same opinion

radahns set is one of the only things in this game that has inspiration from that era, particularly rome and sparta

if you want to look like a roman or spartan, thats pretty much your only option unless you do some mental gymnastics with mixing and matching some other sets

Most armor sets (not including cloth) in this game are bulky. Imo what makes it not match with things is the fact that its an armor set completely inspired by the classical grecoroman period in a game that primarily has medieval and ancient celtic influence

If you make your charectar as skinny as you can, armor sets look different and sleek, especially Erdtree sentinel, and if you make your head as big as you can, masks and helmets look goofy

The armor is tree sentinel armor from auriza heros cave, its the worst most nanoying cave to complete in the game so i suggest using morgotts seal to cheese it

Patches can sell u morgotts seal for 5 k and it has a bug where it activates all flame traps in a big range around u so u can just walk to the middle of the cave and use it and wait like 10 seconds and u will get the armor

In the backstory I've crafted for her, the desire to do so is there. She comes from the Frenzied Flame Village and is one of the few that managed to resist completely succumbing to the Flame's influence, though the power still burns in the backs of her eyes and she can call upon it at any time.

She escaped her village and went to Lyndell to swear her life to the Golden Order, hoping to find solace in their teachings and a way to purge the madness lurking in the depths of her mind. She was forced to hide her face at the time because her eyes now glow a yellowish color reminiscent of the Frenzied Flame and the villagers burned the mark of the Three Fingers onto her face before she got away. Even though she was discovered and ultimately cast out of the Order and made Tarnished when her mark was discovered, she still believes in the Golden Order and that it may offer her a path to salvation from the Frenzied Flame.

Once she's called back to the Lands Between, she becomes determined to see the Golden Order made whole again and will use any means to do it, even use the power of the Flame to strike down challenges in her way. It may all be in vain and she'll one day stand before the Three Fingers and become the Lord of Chaos...or she may instead find hope in the teachings of Goldmask and help bring about the Age of Order he envisioned and finally feel the peace she longs for. Either way, she symbolically dons the Envoy garb as she views herself as the envoy of the next great Age of the Lands Between.

It is, I also went throughout most of the game on something like level 20 with +1 somber weapons, but I hit a brick wall when trying to kill Malenia

Well, it was much easier on level over 100 with a +10 black bow, because for one my bow did over 200 damage instead of like 50, so I did not have to rely on status procs alone

I actually developed a strategy for Malenia with bow only and nearly defeated her before, but it just turned out to be too tedious, fighting for 15-20 mins, worse only would be fist only, but that would take a few hours instead ( there is actually a video of someone doing it in almost 3 hours in a single attempt )

But tbh, by challenging myself like this ( also I have yet to defeat Malenia on my RL1 build, which I also almost did ) I learned Malenia's moveset, including moves you can jump/run past and attack windows
