Hello guys I’m trying to understand math and percentages. So with the recent nerf to barricade sheikd I was looking for an alternative. I’m trying to see if the halgtree crest great shield can get to 100% BST with the scholar sheild buff. According to the wiki it gives a 25% boost to guard boost for 60 seconds. At max level the great sheikd gets to 79 boost and 25% gets it to 99.75 I’m wondering if elden ring would round it up to 100%?

I found out why I like Tyrannosaurus so much, the animal just had a “wow” factor to it. Very few animals have this “wow” factor to them. Just seeing it or even just it’s skeleton makes you feel completely insignificant, and then immediately you feel a sense of amazement or strangely pride? That 7 min speed run is cool but rather lacklustre since it’s the same glitch used over and over. The all remembrance runs are more entertaining. Big props to them for figuring out all those zip glitch wrong warps.

It's lacklustre for me because the runner is abusing the speedrun category rules, it's tracked via ingame time and so he quits to main menu to prevent deaths and to do strategies that are overall slower but end up being faster because it isn't timed

Tracking via ingame time should only be used to eliminate the loading screens that are tied to hardware so everyone is on an even playing field, not so people can cheese speedruns

Margit had prepared for this however, summoning golden spectral weaponry and dealing devastating blows with a speed and agility that the Tarnished had not anticipated from someone of his apparent age. Still, she chipped away at his defenses with great precision and patience, until even he could not deny her true strength. Summoning forth the great sword she’d claimed from the misbegotten of Castle Morne, she dealt the final blow.

However, within the eyes of the Fell Omen, where the Tarnished had expected rage or fear to reside at the reality of his defeat, there was only pity.
The haunting final words of Margit echoed from beyond as his illusionary form faded with golden light.

“I shall remember thee, Tarnished.
Smould'ring with thy meagre flame.
Cower in Fear. Of the Night.
The hands of the Fell Omen shall brook thee no quarter.”

But the Tarnished was too proud to heed. The foul Grafted lord awaited within the castle, and through his inevitable defeat, the path to Liurnia of the Lakes, and The Lands Between were opened.

Through many battles and Rune bearers, the Tarnished fought. The rot of Caelid, the haunting beauty of Sofra River, and Melina’s guidance led her ever closer to her goal.
Yet with each milestone, the Tarnished met more who would outright question the guidance of Grace and the sovereignty of the Golden Order and Greater Will.
The white masked Varré was the first to express these ideals so openly to her, even going so far as to suggest she become a knight of the Moghwyn Dynasty instead. At first the Tarnished was appalled by the notion, but after meeting with the Two Fingers for the first time, would soon admit that she had reservations.
Lady Tanith of Volcano Manor was the second. She had also employed the Tarnished to question her perceived purpose. Were her goals of her own volition? Or had the Greater Will become the only will?

Such affairs left conflict deep in the heart of the Tarnished, now warrior and skilled sorcerer. Yet she still sought the Erdtree. Surely the answers she needed were there. The call of lordship was still strong within her. Marika. The Elden Ring. The fate of the fractured Lands Between. So much depended on her success.
Surely the Erdtree would welcome her. Why else would Margit protect it so strongly; serve it with such integrity; and scorn anyone who dare think they could approach it?

Again he appeared at Altus. On the broken battlefield, prepared to stop the momentum of the Tarnished once more. But she was stronger this time. Much stronger.

As the Omen faded once more, the pity was there in his eyes again. And this time, it’s hidden implication was not so easy to shake.

She was strong. She was more than worthy. She was guided by grace.
Why hinder her? Why fight the hand of the Greater Will in her destiny? If he felt that the rest of his kin were traitors to the Erdtree, should he not rally for her success?

personally I prefer vanilla DaS2 because Scholar has some wonky enemy remixing, but others prefer Scholar's QoL
