It's a neat world to run around in. Feels a bit like a cross between The Division and the original Dying Light, imo. I kinda miss the distinctiveness of Harran, which felt very grounded - this feels more fantastical in many ways, which is fine, but different. The combat feels very good, but I don't think it's particularly interesting.

yeah, i haven't reached the second "map" yet, but i've done most of the first, and it's been real dissapointing. i can see myself playing it for a week or two, because drop kicking zombies, and parkour, are pretty rare, espetially in the same game, but for the most part, just a big downgrade. only real increase is graphical quality, but even then the style of the graphics lean more into bright and colorful, than the horror dark of the first game. not terrible, but really not worth the praise some people are putting on it, mostly out of nostalgia it seems.

well, network test classes are different from release classes, but most new user friendly this time would either be strength, or magic. magic, being either int or faith, probably int, as int is always easy mode. strength for melee, as you get heavy armor and weapons, for protection, and good damage.

lol, black dwarves, don't make sense. black elves, sure, black hobbits even, sure, make sure theres a backstory, and you create lore for them, obviously (without breaking the already there lore), as they didn't exist beforehand. also, female dwarves have beards, so, theres that. another big issue, dwarves, as far as i know, mate for life, so the only choice they have for her, is he died in battle or something, cause if they go with the rout they seem to be trying to, it fails according to the lore. then there is the whole issue of dwarves being patriarchal royalties. hobbits being black, i mean maybe? sure, if they are from way the f- out east, where, yaknow, the region matches the requirements for that, and where there are already black people. though, they already screwed up the lore for the shire, so i doubt they'll succeed there. funniest part, besides the stupidity behind the black dwarves(just make another species of dwarf, they aren't human, don't throw human real world politics at them, whats wrong with you), will be the black elves. gonna love how they figure that one out. dark elves are a thing in other fictions, but as far as we know, elves in middle earth are exclusively white. humans aren't, we know black humans exist, but where did the black elf come from? or go, even? i'm obviously not gonna be watching the show, it'll be completely against everything tolkien wanted his stories to be, and i don't trust people focused entirely on diversity quota's to make a good story, but i'm gonna love watching the backlash.

I’m pretty sure such item will be available honestly, but imo i feel like this isn’t all bad for newcomers, for example if this was my first souls game and someone keeps invading me and killing me during my first play through it could be really frustrating, it would be cool if there’s an item that allows you to be invaded solo, this way the people that want to be invaded and the ones that don’t will be both be happy

oh no i agree completely. thats why i love the change they made from ember-like items, to the item for co-op in elden ring. that made it so co-op activates only when you want, unlike in dark souls 3.

One thing I’m a little worried about is that the world will be filled with pushover mini bosses and that will somehow lessen the impact of the main bosses because most of your time will be spent fighting the insignificant side ones, I’m sure from will not make this happen tho

oh most definitely they won't. ah, this part is spoiler for an early boss, so i'll spoiler tag it if you don't want to know. it's an optional boss(only second spoiler tag has its name, first is location). || the evergaol, that had the knight boss of four legs, always forget his name, that evergaol instead has a much stronger boss, and one of the people who got the 6 hours preview, got one shot from it every time. || now the name, since its its own spoiler || that boss was a crucible knight, super gnarly.||

Like for example if i fight 10 random dungeon bosses and then go and fight godrick the golden and after that another random 10 dungeon bosses it will leave a bad taste in my mouth and the impact of godrick’s fight will be overpowered, i hope I’m making sense lol

makes sense. they've said that some optional bosses will be atleast on par with, if not harder, than the main bosses, and some optional bosses will be, still difficult, but not godrick or fel-omen levels

nah, all the dungeons have differences. some bosses are repeated , like || the cat robot thing, but thats for story reasons|| but that's guarenteed in massive open worlds anyways. the majority of dungeons will have differen layouts, and bosses. so not really chalice dungeons. obviously, the difficulty will also be based on when you go through them, but they won't be like chalice dungeons, atleast, from what we know.

most definitely, one thing they said for optional bosses, is some will remind you, difficulty wise, of sister friede, orphan of kos, and so on.

obviously not all of them, but even just a few, will be epic.
