Elden Ring freezes at seemingly random intervals.
It freezes either permanently or upwards of several minutes during random events, even just moving, especially when in menus.
Music and sfx play fine while frozen
Rubberbands a bit after it unfreezes.
Can't seem to troubleshoot what's wrong. I'm assuming hardware isn't playing nice w/ the game for some reason.
Seems like sometimes starting offline no eac will stop the freezing for longer but it still happens
disabling hardware acceleration doesn't stop it entirely either but seeminly does something.
I have had enough dealing with it, I have no idea why it doesn't work.
Official help was to no avail.

for intel cores it could also be that the stuttering happens whenever your cpu switching from P-cores to E-cores

if everything there doesnt work then try disabling core packing

oh apparently you can just disable E-cores in bios, try that as well

basically intel is stupid and most of their latest cpus have hybrid Performance and Efficiency core architectures
E-cores draw less power but are considerably weaker than P-cores

I am of the opinion that we dont even need E-cores nowadays, we're not in the 1980s where resources are a concern

@tall jay do u have any tips for charmless lady butterfly? i started ng+ and im trying the gauntlets (not the best idea when i couldve done them on ng, i know) and she is demolishing me

i’m also abt to head to the estate in the actual playthrough anyway, i know the gauntlets are more punishing but im still concerned and im facing her soon either way

genuinely struggling to even reach the second phase somehow, i remember using the shuriken on my first playthrough to knock her down midair but i can’t seem to do it with the lazulite shuriken

you can only knock her down with shurikens when she jumps but before she lands

also pushing her into a corner helped a lot with that fight

her 2nd phase is annoying but if you keep being aggressive she's less likely to summon phantoms

if you deflect the butterflies with the umbrella you don't take chip damage afaik? on block you do tho

if you hate dealing with multiple enemies at the same time you can run around the arena and wait for her phantoms to despawn, then hide behind the pillars to avoid the butterflies

snap seeds are helpful but you can't farm those yet

I have a question for souls enjoyers here. I have been playing for a few months now and beat Elden Ring, DS3 and beaten all bosses for Nightreign. I have used co op to get through these games (this is what makes me really enjoy games I know everyone can judge me). However, I was able to beat Lies of P (no DLC yet) and i did struggle a lot but took a break in between finishing it. One problem I have is just enjoying single player games and accomplishing them on my own. Does anyone have some advice on how I can get through that or should I just keep enjoying these games and lore as a co op enjoyer? I thrive in team play and teamwork in older games and life choices like the military and I think that also does something mentally with games as well.
