Hey guys I could use some pointers right about now. I'm currently trying a pyro knight style build and I typically don't use a lot of fire based incantations and weapons. My ideal weapons in mind for the build are messmers spear(the unique AoW specifically) and the blasphemous blade(for a hp sapping playstyle). My trouble is that I'm currently 2 hours in and have absolutely no idea what I should be grabbing for this build or where these things can be found.
I'm looking mainly for anything that can be aquired relatively easily but most importantly, before reaching the altus plateau. Im specifically asking about armor that fits this kind of build aesthetic and any weapons/incants that fit a pyro berserker style build.

I'm happy to hear any suggestions or advice.

If you're going for the blasphemous blade. You're next week after that should be getting Rykards great rune

Because it also does the same thing but if you decide you don't want to use the blasphemous blade because of the fire part against certain areas and stuff, it's nice. And yes they do stack

You could also probably do, with Enshas armor set. It slowly restores health once you get close to death. But keep in mind, that'll only be good for a first playthrough. Subsequent playthroughs enemies just do so much damage that, if Enshas gear is doing its work, you're literally a bonk in the head from dying anyway

The icon great shield is also an okay choice, you can pop it on for general exploring and it'll slowly restore health and it's fairly easy to find if I remember correctly

Incidentally Enshas fist weapon sapp's health when you use the ability

But it's otherwise pretty unimpressive so I would keep it in your offhand or as a secondary

Also you just need to have the blasphemous blade equipped and visible

So as long as it's out even if it's on your back, you could just throw bombs and it'll do work

But even after the Nerf so long ago, it's pretty damn good

I know it's not the most powerful weapon but My plan is to build around blasphemous blade until I get to messmer, then use his spear mostly from then on.

It's actually very good.

You want to pair it with the helmet from the fire nights

And pair it with fire boosting gear. And with an accessory forgot which one, but it boosts the weapons that disappear and reappear when you throw them

It also benefits from the charged heavy attack accessory when you throw it

Oh and also you'll want to get the takers cameo. It also restores health when you kill something

You'll get like a 35 or 40% health Regen, if the blasphemous flames kill something

Takers gets expensive

For Mes spear swap out fire scorpion for charged heavy, because it doesn't do as much fire damage as it wants you to think it does, so boosting that doesn't do a whole lot of benefit at least not compared to the price of giving up your damage mitigation

And swap out the takers cameo for the wing talisman.

Keep in mind the scorpion charms do basically make you squishy as hell

A lot of this isn't really something you have to mind in subsequent playthroughs because in new game plus 7, everything has a 1.45 buff.

Mesmer seal is actually plenty Strong by itself, if you only have to pick one.

The best seal, is the ancient dragon one. Atreally high levels none of the other bonuses come close to comparing. Same with the Frenze flame.

Now granted all my stats are 80 plus. Because I'm a weave that has played this game for too long

But my Fenty flames spell boost, it's like 400 or something... Something stupid high

I only alternate between that and the ancient dragon because you get a slight boost.

It's a goddamn 50 caliber in your eyeballs
